@Chiefparkerrpg Like I said in the other vid, I'm not going to sell any US police badges in the US for obvious reasons. When I get a complete uniform I tend to hold on to it also I'm afraid. If you have any specific peices of mine that you're interested in then let me know by personal message and we can discuss in private.
Handcuffs are not real... CHP carries chain handcuffs look at chppx.com. The flashlight holster is not real either..CHP requires there officers to have brade weave in black. Holster may have been real awhile back but CHP has upgraded officers holsters a couple years back to prevent suspect retention of the officer weapon.
@hageman24 I am sorry, but you are wrong. CHP does have marksmanship pins like this (only the current ones have semi-auto pistols on them, not revolvers anymore). There are three levels (Sharpshooter, Expert, and Master). We also do not get pay increases for marksmanship.
I got this badge from a collector I know, it was the only one he had, and it's not for sale at the moment I'm afraid. You see cheap CHP replicas every now and then, this one is a prototype for the brief time that Blackinton made badges for the CHP.
So just keep your eyes open for them at collectibles fayres and stuff.... but I expect it'll be harder to find police badges from the US in the US, but you never know.......
Nice video! Two other companies also make/made badges for CHP. They are Sun Badge Company and Entenmann-Rovin Company. Those two make the majority of law enforcement, fire & EMS badges, follwed by Blankinton.
I have been collecting over 10 yrs, badges, patches, uniforms from SP/HP agencies and many other county/city agencies and have to say I have quite the collection. I also know their are good people out there like myself and Gavin on here who take pride and respect for the Men and Women of Law Enforcement We need to understand we are not here to police what someone has, but admire where they've come in their collection. I rest my case on this, end of story. Thanks for listening and understanding.
Alright, I need to be very clear about this, anyone who reads this needs to understand something here. Their is nothing wrong with an enthusiast you decides they want to collect police memorabilia for what it represents from any Law Enforcement Agency outside of the Federal stuff, think we need to be more considerate of others, before placing an opinion or argument to what someone has taken some dedicated time and effort to share what they have in their collection.
As long as you have patience then you can collect a full uniform, like I did with this one. You just have to pick bits and bobs from all over the place.
Are you willing to sale any of your Items such as badges or complete uniform I am willing to buy them off you.

Brass hardware and snaps are a pain in the ass. You got to polish them with Barasso at least once a month or they look like crap.

Wow what's the purpose of obtaining a CHP uniform? To impersonate a CHP officer?
Listen, if you're really that big of a fan of the CHP, why not become a real CHP officer?
elsamuraiguapo 3 years ago
1. I collect uniforms.
2. I live in the UK, so the CHP have no authority.
3. I live in the UK, and I'm currently not old enough.
Thanks for the comment

Do you have any idea where I can get a Los Angeles County Sheriff badge?
VolunteerFireEMS 3 years ago
I might, but the collector I'm thinking of wont ship an NYPD badge to new york, so if you're in LA then he probably wont ship it to you.
