Brent Spiner is really a wonderful person. Of course, he has a dry sense of humor sometimes. I love that. I worked with a lot of people in the past who had a dry sense of humor, too. For example, Cologne is known for that. Lol. But he showed already many times that he's there for his fans if his fans need him. He's such a responsible person when it comes to the point. I'm very glad that the world has him. He's a real gentleman. I admire him. He has my full respect.

Spiner was on Letterman twice in 96. Having watched both interviews, I cannot find anything remotely disturbing. He talks about movies, Alice Krige, conventions, Dave screwing up his Viewer Mail submission in 81, etc. Very curious what you saw that I did not.

He took the job, didn't care about ST, and became an international icon. The clips of Capt. Picard with his head in his hands -- is that from "The Offspring"? It always amazed me, how upset he got over Lal's creation, as if Data had done something terribly wrong; but I realize this is off-topic, oh well.

I just wanted to state publicly that I think this montage is well-done, technically speaking; and although I'm not sure I agree 100% (he's not perfect), you should be able to express your feelings about Brent without being attacked or censured (more later).

met brent three times... i love the man. problem for many people is that he is straight out. a dry humor, and maybe a difficult charakter, but on the other hand... hes so friendly and kind, if you met him ( to me he was ).cant say anything bad about him.

Brent really is an awesome guy in person - a lot of people don't get his sense of humor, though - very true. He's quite charming and very much the gentleman. I asked him for acting advice, and his answer was very sweet. He said I project well! But in all honesty, he really is a nice guy in person.
