The Right criticism of ANYONE using a teleprompter is ridiculous. It is a action by a careful, conscienctious person trying to have an organized and accurate message. Even Eisenhower used them, and Nixon, and Ford and Reagan and Clinton and Carter. If you have the tools to convey an accurate message then use them. The man GIVING the speech often writes the speech. Even JFK did and Reagan especially was practiced at saying the words written for him.
