@MrShaiker This is wrong. If by "fractional reserve banking", you mean inflation by the printing of fiat currency (if not, you need some mental help, seriously friend), then you're wrong. Lots of conspiracy theories (Zeitgeist, anyone?) center around the particulars of how new fiat currency is introduced through the banking system. This misses the point - printing money for the government to spend destroys an economy, whether it by debasement by adulteration of metal or the printing press...

This is M1 in federal reserve nominclature. However, they have also introduced new types of fiat currency (er, sorry, "financial instruments", cough), and if these are included (M2) the total is $8.4T, it takes several T in spending to move inflation a lot. Beware when it starts to move though....

If you study History, it shows that our forefathers encouraged farmers to grow cannabis. They used it to make things like rope, paper & other manufactured goods & services. @MrShaiker This is wrong. If by "fractional reserve banking", you mean inflation by the printing of fiat currency (if not, you need some mental help, seriously friend), then you're wrong. Lots of conspiracy theories (Zeitgeist, anyone?) center around the particulars of how new fiat currency is introduced through the banking system. This misses the point - printing money for the government to spend destroys an economy, whether it by debasement by adulteration of metal or the printing press...

This is M1 in federal reserve nominclature. However, they have also introduced new types of fiat currency (er, sorry, "financial instruments", cough), and if these are included (M2) the total is $8.4T, it takes several T in spending to move inflation a lot. Beware when it starts to move though....

Whether it be debt proper (say gov. bonds) or unfunded liabilitys ($87T BTW, w/ObamaCare) or printed currency. History leaves no doubt, however, that the latter is by far the quickest and most corrosive. The communists in this country (e.g. Obama) need a great depression like FDR to transform the US (destroy free-market capitalism) and they are succeeding in that aim.

I will legalize drugs and end the "war on drugs" and all related State policing and incarceration. If persons have a drug problem - they can get help. If they commit real crimes against persons or property that is a criminal justice matter. I will allocate criminal justice resources to REAL crime and currency to REAL production. The power of no taxation to the private sector will release the engine of the free market as currency is released to real production. Lower and middle income persons with homes will own their homes free and clear. I will then create a "stimulus" to end the cycle of poverty and include the welfare class i the middle class. I have a solution. I will institute a State Bank and a new currency. I will declare a State of Emergency, place a moratorium on all home foreclosures and declare debt elimination across my State by Executive Order up to $300,000 per person. I will eliminate all taxes - utilizing the creation of currency in lieu of sales tax, property tax, income tax, "sin tax", etc. I will release the free market (cont'd).

There used to be a time when our politicians would logically work out the problems of this country, that day is over, it really shows in the national debt. Both sides are so afraid to make any serious changes like, true reforms to entitlement programs or the growth of government employees, I can see things only getting worse. If you study History, it shows that our forefathers encouraged farmers to grow cannabis. They used it to make things like rope, paper & other manufactured goods & services. They also used the tax revenue to build roads & pay maintenence fees for Fed. buildings & construction. George Washington & Thomas Jefferson both encouraged it. It's not dangerous like alcohol is. If our Fed govt. was "really" serious abt. paying off our National debt, they would pass Fed. legistlation to "legalize" cannabis. The savings alone they spend on enforcement would pay most of the interest each year. The tax revenue accumulated from the sale of cannabis would pay off the rest of the interest, plus help pay down the debt itself. Its not addictive because it's not an "opiate" like prescription drugs are. You cannot overdose or die from it either.
