@tmotofga The term Uncle Tom is not referring to blacks who are positive or passive. The name Uncle Tom in this day and age usually refers to blacks that think their above other blacks, who want to disassociate themselves with their people and convince white people that their the good one. There's plenty of blacks that talk proper,achieve in academics, and still get respect. Another thing, is that picture in the background Bob Marley or Jesus.

@tmotofga Do you think uncle tom was like jesus? Uncle tom was passive but pasive doesnt mean you have moral character . He was not like jesus or MLK. Uncle tom thought he needed to get his oppressors approval which to me shows he was spiritually weak. Jesus didnt think he was wrong neither did MLK. They both just believed in non-violence not non-resistance. Passive means non-resistant which means you know the other guy is wrong but you wont stand up. MLK made a distinction between the two.

Great video. I see Uncle Ruckus as a Trojan Horse in that via humour and

a cartoon character, Ruckus plants stereotypes and negative impressions

of black people in the minds of impressionable young people. He is the black Archie Bunker. Just as Rap music and drugs have poisoned minds in our

community, this sort of entertainment has a deleterious effect.

However, I have to disagree about the trojan horse type. He is also not like Archie in that he admits that he hates his own. Archie loved his race. I grew up with Archie and I knew that all whites were not like him just as I am sure most whites know all blacks are not like what Ruckus proffers. Also, keep in mind, it is mostly "OUR" people who sing and write those destructive forms of music.
