what's up with the "mick jagger and the rolling stones" banner at the start? that's an insult to the band, especially keith and charlie who are the back bone of the whole stones sound. mick is just the skinny prat (although undoubtedly talented, don't get me wrong) who sang and wrote most of the words! insulting, insulting i say!
If you really listen to Keith's playing this is one of his best efforts. The two part guitar work is exceptional and Billy Preston fills the middle with the perfect blast of his B-3
Favorite verse: Every night that you've been away, baby, I have sat down and prayed that you're safe in the arms of a guy who will bring you alive and not drag you down with abuse.
Baby, you're my fuckin' blues!

Doesn't the opening rhythm guitar sound similar to the one heard in Maggot Brain by Funkadelic?

Brill blues from the Stones.
It's funny ... cos I always thought the word was desire in place of alive
prayed that you're safe in the arms of a guy who will bring you desire ....

Great song. Love to play and sing this on my own on acoustic, with some harmonica added in. The Stones rule! (right after the Beatles, of course...)
