  • Why did I just watch this video??....

  • Thank you Jennifer. By serendipity I found your video about St. Patrick's Day and am very happy I did. Greetings from Ontario Canada. Have a great St. Patrick's Day in 2011 :)

  • Another handy phrase is "Ye' feckin' shitearse cuntface" meaning "Hey, can you lend me some money for alcohol please?"

  • She left out "Im outa me fekin trolly",meaning "Im drunk".

  • thank you for your lessons they are useful

    good luck

  • and i hate americans who thinks they does be irish

  • Ireland ftw!!! im proud to be an Irishman but i hate the way St. Patrick's day is used as an excuse to get drunk i REALLY don't agree with what other countries are making it into ie. a joke...

  • Giving away free Lockerz invites. Send me your email on message and I'll send you invite.

  • Neighbor has a U in it ffs!!

    english fail more like!

  • just on 0:41 im from dublin ireland and the SYMBOL of ireland is NOT THE SHAMROCK ITS the IRISH HARP.

  • my mom was born in Ireland son

  • This video reminds me of the video shown to the monsters on the "Scoobie Doo" movie to make them blend in when they took over the vacationing kids bodys on "spooky island". Anyone remember this kids movie???

  • Totally...LOL!! I just watched it with my son yesterday...

  • hands off ireland, u yankee war monger

  • great!!!

  • just to clarify, a shamrock is NOT a three leaf clover. NOT. just to clarify that.

  • @xtremlyrandomgirl

Yes it is you idiot. All shamrocks are clover. It is a three-leafed heart shaped clover. Check a gardening book.

  • @xtremlyrandomgirl then what is it dumbass

  • In the US we celebrate by getting drunk and stupid, pissing on peoples lawns, trying to sing Danny Boy when we only know five or six words. In fact, we wouldnt know an Irishman if we tripped over one. As luck would have it--I think I enjoy this celebration more then this video,.

  • @ColonelRHS AMEN!!! WHAT the hell is this video about????? See my other comment...

  • you are amazing!!! thank you so much!

  • Jennifer i am from Brazil would be a pleasure for me to teach you portuguese, we can share our skill would be great, send me your msn adress ok bye.

  • Thank you ,Jennifer, I enjoy your every lesson.

  • This is really boring but i must comment on how good of a teacher you are! Your uses of visual aids are used to perfection! Im well impressed congrats

  • what the fuck? this is not for real.

    foi muito esclarecedor.

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • thanks Jennifer!

  • OMG this has to be a joke!

  • its not intended for you. Its meant for people who are learning the english language

  • coffeefish do you even know the facts about the IRA? do you know what was done to the irish catholic's for no reason?? if you knew the facts then you wouldnt be bad mouthing the irish.

  • abcjbc is right the real culture is in Connacht and Munster

  • Irelands connections - Dont go to Dublin on Paddys day or a petrol bomb will come flying on your head!

  • Congratulations for you work!

  • w t f is this bull shit this makes me want to blow my fucking brains out....

  • Hi Jenny

    where are you from?

Thank you so much for this class, it will be useful during my teaching for this 2009 Saint Patrick's day.

We should have a chat about esl teaching someday soon.

    have a nice day.

  • St. Patty's day is for Catholics only. Let them celebrate the Catholic child molesting, the Catholic terrorist killings, and the Catholic invasion of illegal immigrants,,,,,,alone.

Don't be pressured into participating, and don't let your children be pressured into participating in our public schools.

  • tell us where your from ya stupid cunt. probaly a english cunt and if you are i hope the c-ira kill more of your police and army. and its paddy's day patty you fucking clown.

  • Thank you for helping me make my point. It might as well be call "IRA DAY" after the Irish Catholic terrorist group.

  • Eh i dont see the Rep of Ireland (prodominantly Catholic) killing off people, or gettin involved in terrorism, that would have been the north, which is prodominantly protestant....so back off...

  • Who just killed three innocent people in cold blood last week? The US news say it was the Catholic IRA.

  • Ooh the US news, oh well they must be right...Good auld CNN or whatever poison is running the media circus in that country of the damned...

Just wanted to know why you've got such a beef is all...

  • since when has America had ne-thing to do with free speech, those idiots have been crumbled by the new nazi's they got runnin the place...ill take the catholic church over that any day...

  • Every news network carried the same story. No real opinions, just the facts. Three innocent people gunned down by an Irish Catholic terrorist group.

  • And how innocent people have been gunned down by american teens??? and even more so the american government, army etc... im sorry, but on the scale of evil, America will outshine the devils...

News outlets are no more useful for facts than a 5year olds storybook...

  • So, because there is crime in the world, it makes what the terrorists do OK?

  • Im not sure how you got that from what i said.... and no, terrorism is not okay, but whats worse is the causes behind terrorism, and what it really is, as a whole, thats what scares me...nobody shud be afraid of men/women in turbans or whatever, but the underlying social conditioning that bends us all to be afraid of what are essentially ghosts...thats the problem, not killing sprees, and not catholics, just that government/media enduced fear, to make every1 crumble...

  • get a life you stupid cunt

  • Got a life, thanks. You don't mind if I exercise my right to free speech do you?

I don't think that the right to free speech, and the Catholic church, are good friends.

  • dude, dont freak out god. and wtf r u talking about free speech and the catholic church??? and for the record, ya, the US news sux. just so ya kno.

  • yeah the US news is ridiculous...more entertainment than information

  • You really help me a lot!!

I'm looking foward for other videos...

  • I do not know how to thank you Jennifer for your noble work. thanks a lot. Mohammed from Finland. My best wishes.

  • In fact, I dont want to rain on your parade, but I really admire some of your lesson about vocabulary. I wonder could you post another vocabulary lessons.

  • Have you seen the lesson that presents phrases with "make"?

    CORRECTIONS:

I don't want to rain on your parade. In fact, I really admire some of your lessons on vocabulary. (Only some?! LOL) I wonder if you could post some more vocabulary lessons?

  • Is the brazilian neighbor history true?

Well...I'm from Brasil and I really like your lessons. They're helpful and easy to undestand!Thank you very much!

  • I do have a Brazilian neighbor and friend, but she knows English very well, so we speak English together. I really should practice my Portuguese! This is an example of me the teacher not setting a good example for language learners. :( I should find the time and energy to study Portuguese again.

  • Jennifer you are awesome! Good job.

  • it was really usefull, Jennifer,

    thank you

    Mahin

  • it is a great lesson as usuall.

    Mahjabien

  • Dear Jennifer I'm awaiting for an American History Lesson for example: the American Revolution or the Civil War or something which is connected with New England.

    YourS Faithfully Salvatore!

  • Wow! That's a tall order. I'm not a history buff, but I'll see what I can come up with.

(tall order = big request; history buff = one who takes an active interest in history/ knows a lot about it; come up with = arrive at some solution/ create something)

  • wow...

more and more vids to come...

    thanks jen!!

  • just to say thanks jen

  • Jennifer, thank you for your videos!!! Could you teach us how to pronounce "t" in words like: little, water, later, problematic, battery, bottom etc. For example "t" in "bottom" sounds different than in "button"... Thank you.

  • Yes, I'll address this.

  • Great Jennifer! Sublime!

  • Happy Saint Patrick's Day, Jennifer!

As luck would have it, I have a name day on this day. Do y'all have name days in America when somebody congratulates you just because of your name? When do you have a name day? I hope it's just arround the corner! ;)

  • No, we don't have that extra reason to celebrate our names. :(

  • If they are Roman Catholic or Orthodox they would; but most American Christians are Protestant, and do not celebrate name days.

  • Hi Jennifer, I am glad you have Brazilian neighbors and can practice your Portuguese. Greetings from Brazil. Thanks for the great videos. Just wish we had scripts! Obrigado CB

  • Great lesson. Great teacher. Thank you.

  • Great. Thank you

  • Thank you Jennifer.

    You are the best
