For anyone who plans on making this recipe, don't. It doesn't come out as ice cream, more like a mousse. Also, it's extremely strong because of the 70% chocolate. I substituted a bit of it for 50% and even then it was really strong.

@Klutzy17 From what I gather you would do everything the same except allow the mixture to get really cold, the freezer will speed this up, take it out, using a mixer beat air into it till thick. Put into a plastic container with lid and let it there 8 hrs. An icecream maker speeds this up but it can be done without one too. Hope this helps. Any questions feel free to contact me. @MzCarmeno Good point! I'd like to add that certain some brought brands have altered their recipes to improve their bottom line and NOT the quality of ice cream. They now add fillers to stretch ingredients. One brand I can no longer eat, because the quality has diminished too much. Making homemade ice cream means you don't have to skimp on quality ingredients. I challenge anyone to Google search "why did ice cream recipe change" and see all the complaints made against a certain company.

You have most things in the cuboard at home to make any flavour Ice Cream, you can buy an Ice cream maker for a one off price of around £20.

Just add up how much you pay each month on Named brands like my fav Ice cream Haagan daz Pralines and chocolate at £5 a tub it would cost me £20 a month for one tub a week so you can make as much as you wanted of your fav Ice cream at a one of cost of an Ice cream maker!! and you can get inventive and make your own recepie. :0)

my recipe is 2 chilled all purpose cream (here in the Philippines, i use Nestle cream), 1 Condensed milk, 1 small and 1 big can evaporated milk............just mix everything using a hand mixer until smooth....then put vanilla and (Cocoa or mango or strawberry or coffee or crushed oreo cookies)......and chill....that's it....no need to cook anything
