A 3 year-old kid cannot comment on YouTube and all Ratchet & Clank games look great regardless. Also, I played the beta yesterday, and I must say that I'm definitely buying the game. Insomniac said Ratchet & Clank won't be out of their hands for a while, but it will eventually. They said that after they made ACIT. I like A4O, you don't, but who cares? This definitely isn't going to be the best game ever, but it looks decent to me because they didn't change everything.

That's not what I said. I said that there is no reason to complain. I didn't say if it's made Insomniac it automatically makes it good. Insomniac is only making ONE game like this to test it out and see if it'll be good. So far, there are people who say that it looks great and people who are complaining. This is a continuation to the comic series, so of course the characters will look like this. This is only temporary. I have no problem with Insomniac testing out a new idea.
Also, the graphics don't make a Ratchet & Clank game. The gameplay looks awesome. I haven't played it because the beta is only available in Europe, I heard. People in US cannot play it. Betas are betas! They can't always compare to the game when it comes out. Look at the Uncharted 3 beta.
A beta cannot always compare to the actual game. Some people think it will be good and some do not. It's a Ratchet & Clank game made by Insomniac. What's not to like? The co-op? If you don't like it then don't buy it. I'm glad that they were nice enough to bring back multiplayer. We haven't even played it yet so there's no need to judge it. They are trying something new! What's wrong with that? They game's not even out. This looks fantastic! Online co-op, Local co-op, and single player with 1 AI buddy. That's awesome. Clank can jump off and on Ratchet's back anytime in single player.
Insomniac is trying something new and they're doing a great job. All 4 One is an attempt on co-op, which they never even tried. Besides, the game isn't even out yet!
@RobertsNetworkCom Mario has seen many changes over the years. The original gameplay is the same (just like this game) but changes to the game have been made. So people that are open to some change are sucks up right. I guess you would prefer playing Mario in 8-Bit right... since change in a series is too much for you to handle.
Try to name a series that has done literally the same thing (other than shooters n sports games that have little to offer with change) each game w/ great success.
I love how everyone is hating on a game that is trying something new and than when other games "play it safe" and do the same thing each year, they complain that the game is the same as the last and doesn't add anything new. Really people.
@ThisIsDjYigytugd Actually, games like Call of Duty, Mario, Halo (I think) and more don't change and are praised like Gods. When games like Ratchet & Clank, Crash Bandicoot (look up Crash of the Titans and/or Crash Mind Over Mutant), Spyro the Dragon and Sonic the Hedgehog change and innovate their formulas instead of reusing them and they get trashed for not sticking to their oh-so precious roots. It's quite a shame, but the opposite is true. Retro games are praised, innovative games are hated.
now i have played every single ratchet and clank, but this one looks way to childish for me, i remember when the R&C games were rated T For Teen... but now they made it look way to childish.
If you guys want to know what the zoni ray does, it shoots out like a time bomb that slows down enemies much like Clank special time gadgets in the Ratchet and Clank Future series.
As you can see in the video at 0:51, when Clank shot that robot with the Zoni ray, it moved slower than it originally did the second time it shot its laser.
@uzimakishadow Thats why I got a PS3 too. I would've loved to see my favorite video game characters on a brand new platform. In my opinion, the new Ratchet games were the worst in the series. It has so many annoying characters, and most of the levels are way too easy. I just feel like their dumbing it down for a wider audience to make money.

The series turned to shit after number 3. Locked and Loaded AKA Going Commando was the great because it improved on what was missing in the first game, however it did lack the creativity that the first game had so I equally like both of them. You normally can't stretch an idea past 3 games, it normally doesn't work. The same happened with Crash Bandicoot.
@eternalexistence What is it with this obsession with the original trilogy in anything? God of War trilogy, PS1 Spyro trilogy, Sonic Genesis trilogy, Crash trilogy, etc. The idea for Crash and Spyro past 5 games and TwinSanity/A Hero's Tail had ideas the 3rd games did not. Then they tried new and BETTER ideas that gave you cool powers, more variety in the core gameplay and in Spyro's case, a great story. Very few series turn shit after 3 games. R&C didn't, Sonic didn't and Crash & Spyro didn't.
@RazielTheUnborn Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time were both pretty good, but they're pretty much just like playing Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal with better graphics.
@StainIessChina I wish they did more with the multiplayer though. Story always comes first, but that mode had a lot of potential that was never realized.
@Shrimpaholic I agree the multiplayer on Up Your Arsenal was really fun imagine how much more awesome it would be if they made an online version of that.
A good example of a game series is Portal, It was portal 1 + 2, personally I want another one but there won't be because Valve know if they make another one it will be awful and or not as good. Let it die young and everyone will still love it, if you give in and make more your only going to turn it into turd.

It's not like they are going to keep the Co-op style the rest of Ratchet and Clank games! I cant believe theres such a vocal minority of hardcore Ratchet & Clank fans hating change so much. Ratchet & Clank has always been about that like wiv the new weapons and worlds insomniac never recycled anything except the odd weapon or character model. Im dying for All 4 One anyway and let the haters hate cause you know they'll buy it and secretly love it.

@mabsucksshit i meant like ingame assets like every new game the made new weapons and worlds from the ground up even in ratchet and clank 3 when they stretched out their resources doing multiplayer they diddnt recycle the levels metropolis, blackwater city and the outpost on aridia just to save time and money lkie companies like Square Enix do.
However your right that thematically insomniac have recycled some things but imo after TOD Ratchet and Clanks style changed up a bit

Crash Bandicoot got this shit with Crash of the Titans and Crash Mind Over Mutant, Spyro the Dragon got it from The Legend of Spyro onwards, and Sonic the Hedgehog has had this crap for a decade for trying out new things. Retrofags are SO annoying. They want to kill creativity and innovation in games just for rehashes. Screw them.

The series turned to shit after number 3. Locked and Loaded AKA Going Commando was the great because it improved on what was missing in the first game, however it did lack the creativity that the first game had so I equally like both of them. You normally can't stretch an idea past 3 games, it normally doesn't work. The same happened with Crash Bandicoot.

@eternalexistence What is it with this obsession with the original trilogy in anything? God of War trilogy, PS1 Spyro trilogy, Sonic Genesis trilogy, Crash trilogy, etc. The idea for Crash and Spyro past 5 games and TwinSanity/A Hero's Tail had ideas the 3rd games did not. Then they tried new and BETTER ideas that gave you cool powers, more variety in the core gameplay and in Spyro's case, a great story. Very few series turn shit after 3 games. R&C didn't, Sonic didn't and Crash & Spyro didn't.
