  • Very helpful! Wish I'd found this recipe before Thanksgiving. Will use it the next time.

  • Excited to try this!

  • My family has always used cornstarch in our gravy and no one has Celiac disease.

  • um i love your vids im 11 and i have celiac but im also diabetic so can you please make some low sugar stuff hey check out my page i have 2 or 3 gluten free recipies thanks so much!

  • I have celiac and i really wish i would have found this sooner! I'll use this recipe next chance i get :D

  • Is seaman gluten free?

  • i actually read this as "Gelatin free gravity".

  • GILF

  • I did cornstarch this year and I think it tasted better and had a better consistency. In the past I've typically done flour because it's cheaper. But I'm trying to be more mindful of this.

  • I have never heard of anyone using flour, I thought you ALWAYS used cornstarch (or arrowroot). Why is this a big deal?

  • I've been making gravy for years this way and never knew that it was gluten free and my family loves it. I add onions before the corn starch, then salt and pepper if you'd like. Taste it first because sometimes the turkey drippings are enough. Happy Holidays!

  • you must be one of those people who cooks the same way for years and years and years and years and never attempts anything new

  • Not at all.... I have turned my cooking around since I got married decades ago as a matter of fact. I just commented as far as being surprised the gravy our family had eaten always had been glutin free is all.

Not all meals back then were healthy, most had lard or other stuff that wasn't too healthy. How do you cook?

  • I cook gluten free due to Celiac disease, just for myself too. If I don't have any drippings from chicken or turkey or sometimes use veggie broth stock saved from steaming veggies. I keep it in the fridge in a glass jar.

That is cool that you cook healthy and actually understand the difference. I remember my grandma having blocks and blocks of pure lard in her fridge years ago. She lived along time though even with eating like that and chain smoking.

    Happy Holidays to you too!
