I made this video about 4 years ago when I was 13, and after watching it for the first time since then I can see that it's not the best video in the world! They both were for the reason that Jack and Rose were running around the ship causing chaos,

Plus they were playing hankey pankey on the forward deck where passengers weren't supposed to be and the lookout crew were ogeling them through their binoculars when they would've been keeping an eye out for icebergs if Jack & Rose hadn't been putting on a show, And they would likely have spotted THAT particular iceberg in time.
