Nooo idea. Honestly, when I posted it there weren't that many uke covers of it. It was almost all acoustic covers, so they've popped up within the last month. It is easy to play on the ukulele, so maybe that is why...and the ukulele is "happy" sounding? No idea.

I can't deny the geek portion of this, but as for playing "too fast" I can. The original song is 3:48. 20 seconds of that is intro, and I cut my intro in half, so take 10 seconds off that song, which brings it to 3:38. My video is 3:03...so that means I'm going about ten beats per minute too fast? Not very much faster...there are other videos of mine that you can complain about the speed, and I wouldn't compete with you, but this one isn't that far off...as for me sucking, I'm still learning. =/

This one is one of the Spruce top Soprano travel ukes from Kala, well equipped with the Aquila strings. Now unfortunatly the body of this one cracked within the last four days -.- So I'm back to using my Fluke (which I love, I was just diggin' the soprano in D tuning a lot). I also have a Makala soprano uke (which was my first). Uh..yep!

I have NOOOO idea. I think it was a temperature thing unfortunatly. I've never played the makala concert series! I used to sell ukuleles, and I always enjoyed starting people off with the makalas, but their body style started changing when I stopped working, so I'm not sure if they're still the same. I'm a fan Kala's KA-C though. Laminated mahogany, but sounds almost like solid. Sweet uke.
