Can someone please tell me if you can look at a photo with NOTHING else on the screen. I want to look at a picture without those bars at the top and bottom.
@Davidwilson1212 I'm not sure if you're question has been answered yet, as you did ask it quite a fair while ago, but in iPhoto 09, you hold option and command, then press f. It may have changed for iPhoto '11, but give that a try!
does iPhoto have an independent photo viewing function like Picasa's "photo viewer for PC" which allows you to view images without having to start the main program?
besides, does it act like picasa photo viewer that allows users to drag and zoom images in a full screen mode?
the picasa for Mac does not allow this function. you may zoom it but you cannot drag the images everywhere in the screen....
@eggimage If you go into preferences, under advanced you can choose not to copy your photos into iphoto and instead have them in folders, then you can view the thumbnails right in finder and open them quickly in preview. If you have already copied them into iphoto, you can get them out real easily by creating a folder in finder with the same name as your event and dragging your event straight onto this folder.

"I like how they put pictures of Asian girls for the origami theme. Way to go, Apple."
I like how they show humans using the computer. How stereotypical of Apple.

Stop...before you load Iphoto 11 realize that you can ONLY send 10 pictures at a time and you must send them on a cutsie cardstock.
iphoto 9 was much better at loading and sending multiple photos fast. Also there is no merge. It's gone.
