Do you have any more art book? i'd love to see more videos like this! :D i collect them too... i never knew about the Spectrum books.... i got some money for christmas so i bought a few as i love that kind of book.. so thanks for the recommendation :) x
This is great. I remember Dinotopia in the elementary school library when I was a kid. I'm a fantasy enthusiast, though not quite as diehard as some people. I love reading it and I love seeing it in any form, so this was awesome to me. And relaxing to boot. Hope you make more videos! Would love to see some of the other books you have :)
@orbajo Thanks so much! Yes, I have some more books picked out and will make more vids after this next week is over. I love reading Terry Pratchett...but maybe that's satire more than fantasy? If you've read anything good recently, let me know! I'm looking for something new to read...
@TheBookwhispers There is an amazing series I read a few years back, it's part fantasy part sci fi. Not fantasy in the conventional sense, there's not like dragons and magic and stuff like that in it, but I'd still qualify it as that. It's the Otherland series by Tad Williams. He's also written some great epic fantasy as well. Otherland is a highly in depth 4 book series about a virtual reality program that some people get stuck in and have to find their way out of it. It's awesome.
@orbajo Ran out of room -_-, stupid youtube comment limit. It will definitely occupy you for a long time as each book is almost 1000 pages, and the last one is over 1000. But it's highly worth reading, one of the best series I've ever read. Memory Sorrow and Thorn is Tad Williams epic fantasy series that's the most popular, if you're into the more conventional stuff as well. He's one of my favorite authors. Now watch you're gonna say you've read him before, haha.
@orbajo Oh, Thanks for the recommendations! I haven't read that series yet, but I will have to check it out. Are they anything like the George RR Martin books? Someone compared Williams to Martin....I got Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson from the library the other day, have you read those at all? Thanks again.
Another relaxing video... What's more, I have that exact Dinotopia book! I was so pleasantly surprised when that was the first thing you showed. I'm not kidding... the exact same book, with the cover and everything! Also, I had bought the Good Faeries, Bad Faeries book for my sister as she is an artist and thought she would enjoy the incredible artwork in that book (and I love faeries too so win-win) I basically love fantasy books, DreamScapes Myth & Magic looks great :) Thank you so much :) x
@WhisperCrystal Thank you so much for your comment! That's so funny we have the exact same book. Do you read fantasy also? Or just love the art? Thanks bunches for listening :D
