In terms of capability, the Typhoon is head and shoulders above the F22. Its a true multi role fighter that will still be flying well after the F22 has been parked out in the desert and replaced by the cheaper F35.

@dani1723b Depends on what you mean above all except the F22. Both planes were made for different purposes. The F22 is a dedicated air-air fighter, the EF2000 is a dedicated multi-role fighter. F22 is supreme in air-air combat and that is all. The EF2000 can fight a variety of missions. Air-Superiority, Air defence suppression, tank busting (brimestone), Maritime combat, CAP's, Close air support, Air interdiction and CAS. Its better compared to an F-15E.

In terms of capability, the Typhoon is head and shoulders above the F22. Its a true multi role fighter that will still be flying well after the F22 has been parked out in the desert and replaced by the cheaper F35.

@dani1723b Depends on what you mean above all except the F22. Both planes were made for different purposes. The F22 is a dedicated air-air fighter, the EF2000 is a dedicated multi-role fighter. F22 is supreme in air-air combat and that is all. The EF2000 can fight a variety of missions. Air-Superiority, Air defence suppression, tank busting (brimestone), Maritime combat, CAP's, Close air support, Air interdiction and CAS. Its better compared to an F-15E.

Airlines have read the A350 specs + after three redesigns they needed a bigger engine. Airbus went to GE + got a rude surprise + the boot from GE who said no to Airbus.Thats why there's no new A350 sales + RR wants 2 Billion Euros + 5 years to build a new engine from scratch. A350 will be delayed to 2019 or they cancel it + the A380 is ready to be axed!

GE said no + advised them Boeing paid GE to develop the C-90 engine for the 777 only. Well Boeing has the Exclusivity Contract for the GE-C90 and theres no way Airbus will have access to it or the Nexgen Series. The RR Trent Engines leak oil and explode and the only Boeing 777 failure was caused by defective RR Trent Engines that iced up, RR engine suck!

Just a comment in passing.You really do need to do some in-depth research on the support which Boeing has received from the American government,(read taxpayer) for years. RR Trent engine failed due to the interior dimension of an oil feed pipe, (supplied by an outside contractor) being incorrect. The pipe became compromised and resulted in an engine fire. Get off your horse on GE engines There have been plenty of failures, some of which caused fatal crashes. Your an EDA for sure

Interesting, so far no Airbus has had the upper fuselage peel back in flight and remove a member of the cabin crew.Boeing have had plenty of problems with the integrity of their aircraft.You need to get off your horse and check facts

Has any Boeing ever crashed and burned due to an undercarriage strut collapsing, Yes, According to the F.A.A. large numbers of Boeing aircraft are, in effect, 'flying bombs', due to inferior and problematic wiring in the fuel tanks. Your like a small child, with the same attention span.

@ssmusic214 it was a part of a DC 10 that FELL OFF and was on the runway that caused the tyre to burst...For those unaware , a DC10 is an American built aircraft by the Lockheed Co. The only reason I point this out is to make a mockery of your statement which was completely pointless.

@ssmusic214 If you cant see the connection you are clearly more stupid than even the the statement you made, the crash was caused by debri being thrown up into the wing and damaging the fuel system resulting in the fire..An explosive burst of a high pressure aviation tyre could prove catasrophic to any aircraft.

@ssmusic214 Check with the FAA, AAIB, you will find many examples of tyre bursts causing accidents. Accidents being just that...the culmination of a number of evens unconnected but coming together with tragic results. FACT..if the part had not fallen from the DC10 (that blew the tyre) there would have been no tyre burst and no crash therefore what caused the accident? You clearly have little understanding of this matter therefore little point in continuing the discussion.

@ssmusic214 most times concorde blew tyres nothing happened either. In this case concorde hit shrapnel left on the runway due to a shoddy job by the engineers on the previous plane to take off. In addition, it wasn't the blown tyre that did it, it was high speed shrapnel penetrating the wing that brought concorde down. You should check your facts before spouting off on youtube.

@cpet60 If he wanted to "score points" he should have used facts to support his position. Concorde was clearly vulnerable to this, just like most planes made all over the world have had vulnerabilities of one sort or another. It's usually accidents that winkle them out, and all nations have had more or less equal share of them.

You can present the worldwide listings of aircraft having their integrity broached / compromised, with consequent results. However,the music214 and Lottowinner types prefer their own limited knowledge to that of logic, the FAA,the NTSB etc. You will note that they are both EDA's and fail to mention the failures in relation to Boeing aircraft. 747, engines falling off, whilst in flight. 737's faulty rudders.DreamLiner wings falling off.Wiring and hyd problems Easy to point the finger.
