You have to be part of the live thing to really get a feel for how an audience interacts before slating a song like this. The Buggles version was a studio song... The Feeling version is a live interpretation... they aren't the same and aren't supposd to be! My band performs a cover more like the Feeling's version and it never fails to go down an absolute storm.

OK, I was at this gig, I have seen The Feeling twice and whilst they lack a bit of material they are among the best live bands around, the lead singer is superb. They don't match my faves Radiohead, and the recording doesn't do it justice, but this really was a brilliant interpretation of an old classic pop song. Brought the house down.

Both versions are good. The Feeling just gave a new breath to the song. The Feeling's version is a bit more edgier than the original.

He makes some very obvious and simple mistakes with the lyrics, like he said 'saw your children', as opposed to 'met your children'. TBH, I don't think they're very good live; and personally I could do quite a bit better. But that piano and bass is addictable.
