WOW...what a stunning album. Maya Angelou is one of my favorites and I love how you wove her poem into the album. You take such time and care in putting your projects together. Thank you for sharing your talent! Hugs!
I could listen to you read Maya Angelou all day!!! You have such a soothing voice to me. Almost like when I listen to my grandmother tell her lifetime stories. I could just close my eyes & picture in my mind the story you're telling. Maybe you can make some video's like that?!?! Love your work!
I love the idea of backing the lace with acetate to use it as a pocket, but still see the patterned paper through it. All the vintage ladies you chose fit the poem so well & everything is just working beautifully together for a fantastic outcome! I just love it & happy to see that you're getting some time in the Craft Cave again!
Wow! This album is just amazing! So great to see your wonderful work again! I love the prose and all the beautiful images! There are so many fantastic tags and pockets and places for pictures and journaling! What an exciting mini to fill! Really beautifully done! Thank you so much!...Nancy :o)
@Shel0524 - I really don't know - I work in my Craft Cave in bits and pieces of time - I know I've never been able to creat a mini over only one weekend - I treasure all the time I spend in my Craft Cave.
oh this is beautiful!!!! is this the one you started at the class you did?? my halloween one isnt done yet.I am working the poles next tues. so I think I will be working on it. I will show you when its done.
@mommunson - yes, Jeanette, this is the paperbag mini I used at the class - I wish I had the time to show everyone in Brazil how the finished product could look - maybe they will see it on YouTube - probably won't get to Brazil until January (maybe December, outlook doubtful) - thanks for the kind comment
Anita I'm Sooo Happy to see you creating again. This album is the most beautiful contribution to a Phenomenal Woman. I love the colors you choose and all those fabulous Images wow! Thanks for sharing such Wonderful ideas and your creativity.
I'm going to try to do some tutorial type vids in the near future. The techniques I use are ever so simple. I did do a series of 6 vids called the "Chronicle of making a mini" they are posted on my channel. Thank you for your kind comments.
this is so gorgeous what an awesome mini, she will surely love it, love everything you have created here its definately one of the best minis ive ever seen, you have filled it with so much love and soul thank you so very much for sharing your creative piece with us you are a phenomenal lady :)
I love, love, love how you used that poem throughout the book. I would love the book as it is, but the poem was the one thing that pushed it over to a "phenomenal" piece.
I just have to comment on this part too :-) The ribbon covered acetate pocket was just the most creative thing I have seen! Thank you so much for inspiring and sharing! Happy night, Brigitte
Your paper bag mini was gorgeous. I loved the way you narrated it! How did you do the binding to make it look like an actual book at both ends. Have you done a tutorial on the technique? TFS Susan
I am so so so glad you are back. I love your videos. Your work is amazing. I so love all your minis. I watch your videos over and over. Thanks for the inspiration. Hugs Tracy
I LOVE it!!! I'm so so SO glad to see a vid from you, we've been too long without a wonderful Weezie creation. Absolutely beautiful, TFS your art with us :)
I can't imagine how she could not love this book! It's absolutely stunning, but then I'm very partial to Gibson Girls and those similar. Where did you find all the photos of ladies of this era? They truly just made the book! I love how you used just a part of the verse and carried it throughout the book, very nice. Can you tell me where you found the letters to make the stickpins? Patti
@nwlady1949 - Thank you so much for your kind comments. The stick pins were purchased at JoAnn's on the clearance rack. I get some of my images from an ebay store called ArtistLight Images. They have Charles Gibson and Harrison Fisher Images on CD for personal use. I also this site to obtain images and search for vintage images: flickr.com/groups/collageimages
