  • I could listen to you read Maya Angelou all day!!! You have such a soothing voice to me. Almost like when I listen to my grandmother tell her lifetime stories. I could just close my eyes & picture in my mind the story you're telling. Maybe you can make some video's like that?!?! Love your work!

  • Hi there, very nice project, and I also love how you refer to your craft room as the "Craft Cave" Love that! :) Gina

  • I love the idea of backing the lace with acetate to use it as a pocket, but still see the patterned paper through it. All the vintage ladies you chose fit the poem so well & everything is just working beautifully together for a fantastic outcome! I just love it & happy to see that you're getting some time in the Craft Cave again!

  • @Shel0524 - I really don't know - I work in my Craft Cave in bits and pieces of time - I know I've never been able to creat a mini over only one weekend - I treasure all the time I spend in my Craft Cave.

  • I love, love, love how you used that poem throughout the book. I would love the book as it is, but the poem was the one thing that pushed it over to a "phenomenal" piece.

  • I can't imagine how she could not love this book! It's absolutely stunning, but then I'm very partial to Gibson Girls and those similar. Where did you find all the photos of ladies of this era? They truly just made the book! I love how you used just a part of the verse and carried it throughout the book, very nice. Can you tell me where you found the letters to make the stickpins? Patti

  • @nwlady1949 - Thank you so much for your kind comments. The stick pins were purchased at JoAnn's on the clearance rack. I get some of my images from an ebay store called ArtistLight Images. They have Charles Gibson and Harrison Fisher Images on CD for personal use. I also this site to obtain images and search for vintage images: flickr.com/groups/collageimages
