Loved everything about Melody and Jim but couldn't you have used Simbad for an older Jim cause Melody ( Esmaralda) looked older. Not saying the vid was bad it was brillant im just curiose is all.

I didn't change Jim's appearance because when you think about it: At the beginning, Melody is 12, Jim is 15 and 4 Years later, Melody turns 16 and Jim is 19... I didn't think that Jim needed to change because its not that much difference in years to me; compared to Melody who would go through the most changes from a pre-teen to 16...

That's just me thinking that way though ^^

I hope you don't mind me making a slight criticism. Esmeralda at the end as Melodies human form kind of ruined it for me. It's just way to big of a difference between the edited Ariel and her. They don't look anything like each other and that took me out of the story. Also Esmeralda looks alot older than Jim making it hard to beleive she is the same girl he ran away from.

Please understans that I adore your videos and am only pointing this out so that you can continue to perfect your skills.

I did explain my reason for doing the things I did, but unfortunately I erased it all (*fail) So don't worry, I understand my flaws here, and I was originally trying to follow some ideas from my Numb video, but I see now that it didn't really work so well. This. Is. The Best. JimxMelody Video. Ever! I love how you went from the beginning to the end at a good speed. Most videos with them go too fast with the story, but this was amazing! I like how you turned Ariel into Melody by changing her colors. It looked so realistic and I truly believed she was Melody and not Ariel. I also liked how you kept Jim as himself and didn't make his older self Dimitri or Sinbad. That was very original and it worked perfectly! All around Great Job!!

well, I think differently when it comes to aging characters i guess, cause 4 years later, Melody would be considered 16, like Ariel was in the first movie ^^. And since I consider Jim to be 15 at the beginning, that would make him 19, which doesn't require a major appearance change to me, so I kept him the same. As for Esme, I didn't think any changes were required since I strongly see her as Melody's older version to begin with (like in my other videos) as herself, and *cont.

Well, I usually see Esmeralda as being the older version of Melody, and while I was making this, I sort of saw Melody going through 3 stages of life; her childhood, her life as a runaway mermaid until she finds Jim, and then her turning back into human to be with Jim. I juat wanted three different images for her ^_^

@LoveAndHeartbreak Choosing Esmeralda feels like a disconnect though. I mean, Melody (human) into Melody (mermaid) looks the same only with fins. Then when she grows into Ariel, you edited the colors very well and so she still looked very similar. But when she's human, she's Esmeralda who has a different skin tone, hair style, eye color, and face shape, etc. If it was directly Melody to Esmerala, I can get how you like to think of her as the older version, but in this video it doesn't fit.
