There is sadly nothing that America or any Western country can do to help. Ahmadinejad gets support whenever he can blame the resistance on 'foreigners' or America. This is because America supported the dictatorship of the Shah before the Iranian revolution. Look what happened when the US treid to 'help' Iraq.
