God I had Kawazaki GPZ 750 Turbo E2. And I can relate to this. Mine wasn't as vicious, but boy it was close in the way it pulled at low revs in comparison to the more usual high reving bikes. This guy didn't go near the red line at all. If he did I think he'd be looking up permanently! And yeah I lived in Berlin for a while, Autobahns rock!!!! Except for the 80/100kph limit on junctions.

No, we have something what is called "TÜV" and they have to look at your bike (also car and so on) before you are allowed to drive on the road. And if you change sth. e.g. the speedlimiter they look at it and if they accep it and write it in a book of your car (dont know the english word or if you have it) you are allowed to drive with the new feature, without speedlimiter,...

Yes, they get it like the bikes, when they are manufactured.

But you can turn off this limit by chip-tuning and it´s leagal, my cousin has got a Astra OPC which makes about 300km/h and he´s allowed to drive it at the road. (chip tuned and race version)

boost gauge you fool!! lol that bike is insane and im all for insane machines but its way too much power as its lifting in almost every gear.. the power is just being wasted and i reckon a standard R1 would fly past while your lifted up in the air wenever you give full throttle, obviously in higher gears it would be effective and youd murder any bike but is it worth it? as i know the conversion must cost a bit and id expect it would need an intercooler and mapping etc..very expensive!

hey man, i have a question. does converting your bike to turbo put more wear and tear on the bike?..if so, how much does it negatively impact the engine..or, are there are there no noticable side affects? i was thinking about turbo fitting my next gixxer- just figured i'd ask first.

low boost should not have any negative side effects, you just need to make sure your engine runs cool, that the compression ratio is below 13.0 to 1(with boost), and that the engine is tuned properly. For higher boost levels you would want to upgrade your internals so that they would not cause engine failure.

youd need alot more then just running cool lol.. youl need to upgrade the fuelling system..mapping of ecu to match air/fuel ratio so bike doesnt run lean or over fuel as it could blow up and a whole lot more like oil pumps, oil coolers etc...
