@beaconstructs yeah i got it while hunting in my crow hunting video that i have up... it is the e-caller that i'm using.. personally if i would have the chance to buy it again, i wouldn't, i would get the wireless one..or a foxpro one.. because with the wire your really limited in range,
@sportbikeandhunter true I get that. How well does it call in coyotes? Thats what I will hunt primarily. I am on an EXTREMELY tight budget so the extra $75 is huge so i can deal with the wire I'd say
@beaconstructs i never tried it solo for hunting yotes, i always mouth call and run the caller at the same time... But it does bring in a good amount of yotes here in PA
@sportbikeandhunter Oh ok I am at the other end in CA but my main concern is the distress calls. Thats what really brings em in over here. I am just sick of blowin the calls. I can howl to locate with my hand calls and will continue doing that but I would rather be able to prep myself with the rifle rather than keep blowin a call.
@beaconstructs the red fox thats in my background i called in with this e-caller... 15 yard shot.. Ever try to call with a diaphram caller? like the ones that they have for elk and turkey? They make some for preds.. They'll give you the freedom of both hands, while at the same time calling....
@beaconstructs The locater call for the yotes on the one stick is pretty good,, so is the coon and yote (or is it a fox) fight also brings them in pretty well... It's kinda hard for me to say because here everyone tries to shoot these yotes and half of them are shit shots, and miss, and their harder to bring in.. usually i can get the yotes to come into about 100 yards or so, untill they hang up
@sportbikeandhunter No I might look into the diaphram calls thanks. Ya thats not bad. I am into long range hunting with a full custom varmint style ar 15 so I am set to make the long shot. I might just give this call a go anyways and see how it all turns out. Thanks
This call works great. I bought mine in august 2007 down at the Wheeling, WV store. I've called in plenty of crows with it and i did call in one fox with it before but I am a coyote hunter so I didn't shoot it.
