I never liked Volvos for obvious reasons, but i picked one up at a garage sale once. I have now owned 4 of them. When that motor is kicking over and you hear everything working like clock work and know you can't break it....... The older ones were the shit and there is no better feeling than leaving a brand new XR6 or Commodore behind you in the dust of an old tractor. Suckers :)

@czarpeppers if you can't hold a drift because lack of power then you need more PSI or narrower tyre. The general rule with under power drifting is balls of steel and high entry speed. Most drifters in 2011 are doing power sliding now a days.

They are not very 240 in Sweden at all anymore. Either they are scrapped, standing around on farms or small towns in Sweden. Many have also become stock car cars, rally cars or gatbilar which is tuned as much as they possibly can. If you find a 240 turbo in Sweden you should be very happy for most of the youths had and drove down: (

@yamahaevo There's a difference between not being able to drive and not having sufficient power to induce power oversteer in order to start a slide. Obviously that could be remedied by using the Scandinavian flick in order to bring the back out, but even then there will not be enough power to keep a drift going for any length of time. I am talking about dry pavement, of course. Add some gravel or snow to the mix and problem solved. But I doubt you actually understood that.
