You might find it funny but little events like this helped the Japanese progress from a war mongering group of people to what they are today with Technology, Industrialization and a booming Economy. Given that the Afghans make good use of recently discovered Mineral mines and start trading with other nations, it wont be long before more Afghans will find more jobs and their whole economy improves and perhaps even compete with other nations soon in the next few decades to come.
