Ok smart guy... what do YOU consider to be a "real" scope? Because I can tell you right now, the SS is on par with other scopes that cost 2x-3x more. It doesn't have illumination or a lot of fancy crap you find on some other scopes, but that's a large part of WHY it is so good at such a low price point.

Well yeah a 300 shot is avarage shooting range for a sniper, but the best shooting range comes from a military sniper from canada in which he killed a men within 2,600 meters...almost 1.5 miles or more.
300 yards isn't that big a distance is it? I did a snap shoot once with a 5.56 rifle with iron sights at 300 yards and hit 9 out of 10 targets (i was rather disappointed about the 1 i missed). the targets were man sized, so do you really need a sniper rifle at 300 yards? or is this shooting for a grouping?

I just tried my 10-40x50 Rifle Scope by IJK and it gave me a 10 cent grouping on target, all on black. it has an r14 reticle (black, red, and blue) and a rangefinder for 280 bucks. Tested on .50 cal rifles so far so good I love it.

Actually it's only 20 per player on the first move. Now OPENINGS are a different story... but an opening is a combination of various moves by both players.
The way the champs win is by memorizing these combination, being able to recognize them (and other possible future variations) then counter it, in effect ruining the plan of the other player.
This is why officers learn about past battles, etc. So they can recognize various tactics/strategies and know how to counter them.

A single pawn has the choice between two moves. There are 8 pawns per side, hence 16 possible moves. Now a knight has the ability to have up to 4 moves, jumping past the pawns. As there are two knights, this would equal to 8 potential moves. 8+16 =24, and nowhere near 400. I would be fine being proved wrong though

its not .556, bro. its 5.56x45. its not the bullet caliber, its just caliber. the difference between the two is a primer difference. the bullet has nothing to do with it if your comparing these two. unless your handloading and loading different grain bullets. please learn something before you post.
Just to be precise. the calibre choice is 5.56mm (metric) or .223 (imperial measurments) but apart from slight differences in pressures and headspace they can be considered the same.
a 5.56 round is safe to be chambered into a .223 calibre rifle. I do this regualry for this calibre and 7.62mm / .308.
Well, I can't say from personal experience but most people i know say an AR-15 rated for a 5.56 has more space than a .223.......meaning the .223 is ok in it..but an ar-15 made for .223 has less head space so 5.56 will not be good in it.
it doesnt matter. ive hand loaded a lot of .308 rounds and they stick out of the neck by a couple of 16th's of an inch out. they are the same caliber.

5.56 is .224 not .223 and 7.62 is 30 cal meaning that you cant reload a 30-06 into 308 or 7.62X39 or if its a 30 cal or a 7.62 it shoots the same bullet the only difference is the powder charge and case size
Unimpressed, I have a much cheaper scope that's only a 9x and I double lung shot 2 animals both at over 450 yds with 25mph wind when I was 16.

What makes me proud is that i'm not special in my society and i can still live the life i do! In a very comfortable 72 Deg room, with plenty of stable electricity at my fingertips, several guns in my closet because i feel like having them and the freedom to discuss whatever i feel like on the internet without fear. Each pawn can move 2 ways, each knight can move 2 ways from the start. That makes 20 ways a single player can open the game. Does a turn encompass both players actions or a single player's action?

Actually it's only 20 per player on the first move. Now OPENINGS are a different story... but an opening is a combination of various moves by both players.
The way the champs win is by memorizing these combination, being able to recognize them (and other possible future variations) then counter it, in effect ruining the plan of the other player.
This is why officers learn about past battles, etc. So they can recognize various tactics/strategies and know how to counter them.

@thedrnailsguy Although I am not trying to be an ass or anything, I just don't know where you got that statistic. For the first round, you are only able to move your pawns of knight. A single pawn has the choice between two moves. There are 8 pawns per side, hence 16 possible moves. Now a knight has the ability to have up to 4 moves, jumping past the pawns. As there are two knights, this would equal to 8 potential moves. 8+16 =24, and nowhere near 400. I would be fine being proved wrong though

Just to be precise. the calibre choice is 5.56mm (metric) or .223 (imperial measurments) but apart from slight differences in pressures and headspace they can be considered the same.
a 5.56 round is safe to be chambered into a .223 calibre rifle. I do this regualry for this calibre and 7.62mm / .308.

Well, I can't say from personal experience but most people i know say an AR-15 rated for a 5.56 has more space than a .223.......meaning the .223 is ok in it..but an ar-15 made for .223 has less head space so 5.56 will not be good in it.

it doesnt matter. ive hand loaded a lot of .308 rounds and they stick out of the neck by a couple of 16th's of an inch out. they are the same caliber.

5.56 is .224 not .223 and 7.62 is 30 cal meaning that you cant reload a 30-06 into 308 or 7.62X39 or if its a 30 cal or a 7.62 it shoots the same bullet the only difference is the powder charge and case size

Technically however, 7.62 is .308
But the military ammunition sold and marketed as 7.62x51 not .308 does have different cases.
They are slightly thicker and use higher pressures.
