Wether you believe in caveman technology for burning crap to make energy or fusion that is so deadly in 30 years it has to be removed & stored where it can never touch water or wind, the problem is- Asthma and breathing problems are pandemic. We have to STOP BURNING OXYGEN faster than we replace it.
Guess what kills MSRA and Viruses? Oxygen & Ozone! Cancer HATES Oxygen.
We went to the moon with vacume tubes & left 3 solar dune buggies there. We have 2 WORKING rovers on Mars after 3+ years.
OK- Carbon Dioxide is a PLANT FOOD? Then put a metal tube from your car exhaust & run it into your house with plants! No? I didn't think so.
Carbon dioxide is used by plants during photosynthesis to make sugars. BUT- CO2 in concentrations of 7% to 10% cause dizziness, headache, visual and hearing dysfunction, and unconsciousness within a few minutes to an hour. Burning Oxygen for energy, polluting the oceans & lakes, destroying fisheries & wetlands, burning the rain forests=LESS Oxygen=DEATH
Oh, where do I begin with you? First of all the exhaust from your car is NOT CO2. It is a combination of gasses, but mainly carbon monoxide which is CO, not CO2. Second, plants don't get dizzy or unconsious. Third, plants breath CO2, but humans breath oxygen. High concentrations of CO2 reduce the available oxygen which is what causes the dizzyness in humans.
WOW, scare monger as much as you want but current CO2 levels are 0.03 percent of the atmosphere. Furthermore, CO2 makes up less than 4 percent of all greenhouse gasses, and of the yearly CO2 less than 5 percent is from man made emissions. The earth is not currently warming and CO2 has never driven climate change in the past. It is a fraud.
u r such an idiot he was joking when he said connect a tube from ur car to ur plants ok. Plus right now we have more CO2 than plants can absorb. It's like a huge multipling pile of pizzas that 10 humans have to eat. are u going ot say its not a problem because its human food. the rate of conversion is obiously not high enough or this wouldnt be a problem.
All of us could have Wind Turbines, Solar Systems and Geothermal in our yards, which supplied all your energy and the extra you could sell for profit. For the greedy at heart think of the money we can make selling our extra electrical energy to the world, since most of the products that we produce can not be bought by most of the world, they cost too much. So why not export our extra energy! With Solar Satellites and Orbital Solar systems we will lead the world in energy. That's reason to do it!
My 16 acres of hardwoods have eaten a few of these elephants. Not to mention the plankton in my 2 acre pond. After the oceans get done with the CO2 we'll need to put the elephants on the endangered species list for sure.
Below is a complete listing of the articles in "How to Talk to a Climate Skeptic," a series by Coby Beck containing responses to the most common skeptical arguments on global warming.
It's nothing to with global warming. It's about turning the United States into a third rate nation. If it was about gw, why isn't China, India and the Russians involved ?
lol. you're complaining that changing our nations energy source and consumption will change us into a third rate country, yet you compare us to third rate countries. it's not just the U.S.A that is contributing to global warming, it is all post and industrial nations. changing our ways will be a good example to how we still lead the world.
Part of the problem with the idea that because nature puts about 97% of the CO2 into the atmosphere (or whatever various amounts it puts in) I don't think that necessarily means that the extra 3% isn't causing a problem. Afterall if the minimum amount of oxygen you need to breathe is reduced by 3% would you suffocate? if a car is about to crash into a pole and it misses by about 3 percent if someone boosted that by 3% wouldn't it crash into the pole?
I'm not sure what land you're referring to but I wasn't arguing whether or not global warming is happening but rather that I don't think the argument you made really made sense. I'm not sure if global warming is happening. However, the fact lots of CO2 goes into the air due to natural causes doesn't seem like a reason to ignore the rest of CO2 being produced by mankind........

increased carbon dioxide has increased plant matter, thus more oxygen.

No kidding. Al Gore always seems to leave that out. CO2 is NOT pollution. It is essential to life on this planet. It is what plants breath.
Save the rainforests!

I don't think he was joking, I think he is uninformed. A lot of people make the same mistake he did.
And by the way, the rate of conversion is fine. It is not a problem. Quit reading the propaganda and read a thermometer instead.

How many elephants does nature(produces about96.8% of all CO2) put in the room?

I think the idea is the same.

And if we were not here nature would still be using that land to make more greenhouse gases.
Beside the science does not matter any more(just ask the alarmist). These people will push to get their goals and political agendas accomplished.

You have to take it into account by subtracting it from manmade CO2.

I'm sorry to say I didn't understand that? can you clarify for me please?
