just want to point out, mass effect 2 was never a 360 exclusive, the better version of the game was on the pc (better because you can play at MUCH higher native resolutions, anti aliasing, 60fps and mouse and keyboard). how can you call it exclusive if a better version of the game is on a different platform? two platforms = not exclusive to either.

I personally think the series will always be better on the 360 because it will always be a complete trilogy for one. The PS3 will only have ME2 and probably ME3. Microsoft commented about this, and they basically didn't care because they've already made their sales with the game. They're just looking foward to ME3.

I personally think EA should've just kept the trilogy exclusive to the 360, and then release the spin off games for both PS3 and 360. This could also hurt EA. If the game doesn't sale well on the PS3 it will hurt them. Think of it as a High risk hight reward situation.
@amari2001 yes but EA is not getting any bonus' keeping it exclusive. The game will sell well as i myself know it has been one of the few (former) xbox exclusives that many ps3 fans have respected as a good game and it was coming anyway, Its EA they will do anything for money......

Exclusive games make no sense. I have a ps3 and would love to play this game. And I wouldn't care if uncharted or metal gear were going to Xbox because it means the developers make more money and everybody is happy. This is stunning its often played during the summer with my sisters they are really good at it. I was lucky enough to get it perfectly free for my sony ps3 from - 115 games. com they have literally hundreds I couldnt beleive that they are all totally free oh btw 2:30 2 2:40 was outstanding

Wrong. EA does own Mass Effect 2 and will own 3. EA has significant losses this past fiscal year and multiple times when asked, Bioware is very vague and will not say it is staying exclusive.

MGS Rising is a spin-off and isn't even necessarily a stealth-oriented game like the previous MGS games were.
Your decisions from Mass Effect 1 were heavily influenced when shaping the story for Mass Effect 2. So yes, it's a big deal. Bioware has stated that they are too focused on trying to complete the main triology too worry about releasing it on the PS3. I suspect they will eventually make ME spin-offs with a different main character .

Left 4 dead for the ps3 is at this moment a maybe, but there is a great chance it will be appearing on the ps3 console even though Valve has publicly announced that they don't like the ps3 in terms of development because of the difficulty to develop games on the system, but Valve's publisher, EA, will POSSIBLY port the game to the PS3, like they did with the orange box
As for Mass Effect 1 & 2, the developer's haven't denied a release for the ps3 so either they're under NDA or haven't decided

Well actually. ME2 recaps the events of ME1, so it is no problem. Bioware even stated that they made the games so you could jump in and know what is going on. Too many outlets including joystiq, kotaku, gametrailers, psnation etc.. are perpetuating this rumor for it to have no merit.

@TimDJ84 sorry to dissapoint ya sir but BIOWARE has just anounced that Mass Effect is property of EA HOWEVER! the trilogy will remain exclusive to microsoft machinery meaning PC AND XBOX 360 so if any other mass effect related game comes out that might be on PS3 but the trilogy will not be on PS3 but if by anychance it did you guys are gonna love it.

Wrong. EA does own Mass Effect 2 and will own 3. EA has significant losses this past fiscal year and multiple times when asked, Bioware is very vague and will not say it is staying exclusive.

Fair enough, but all multi-console games are ported to the PS3 from the xbox because of it's simpler design. See the Bayonetta review by IGN as a reference, they did seperate reviews.

Microsoft has exclusivity for Mass Effect 2. So it's only EVER coming out on PC and Xbox360.

MGS Rising is a spin-off and isn't even necessarily a stealth-oriented game like the previous MGS games were.
Your decisions from Mass Effect 1 were heavily influenced when shaping the story for Mass Effect 2. So yes, it's a big deal. Bioware has stated that they are too focused on trying to complete the main triology too worry about releasing it on the PS3. I suspect they will eventually make ME spin-offs with a different main character .

its not coming to the PS3, Bioware said in an iterview that its not, but they are probly making a project for the PS3. 2 problems with the PS3 version of the game: 1- Mass Effect is trademarked by Microsoft and they published the first but because its an independent developer it can use EA's funding, 2- Even if the game could go to PS3... after how much money its made Microsoft they would pay alot to keep it util they milked it to death. but you have Unchacted 2 :D

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I had read on a different forum site on a topic where someone had quoted a part of an article from a different gaming site saying that it might be, so I checked it out myself just to be sure, I found out it wasn't, found this video and saw all the people getting their hopes up, so I pasted that bit. Left 4 dead for the ps3 is at this moment a maybe, but there is a great chance it will be appearing on the ps3 console even though Valve has publicly announced that they don't like the ps3 in terms of development because of the difficulty to develop games on the system, but Valve's publisher, EA, will POSSIBLY port the game to the PS3, like they did with the orange box
As for Mass Effect 1 & 2, the developer's haven't denied a release for the ps3 so either they're under NDA or haven't decided
