  • yea him and reznor was amazing! Just as great in terms of legacy as his 70's stuff in my opinion!

  • Bowies got more talent in his left nut than the beetles. I'm sure they'll both be forgotten in the future, covered up by generations of shitty pop music made for 12 year olds

  • David Bowie's unreleased record titled 'Toy' has been leaked on the internet in 2011. Mysteriously leaked online a decade after being shelved in 2001, Antiquiet reports. The 14-track album, which never hit stores due to a contract dispute with Bowie's label Virgin Records, has quickly spread after a CD-quality MP3 version was uploaded to file-sharing websites.

  • :( bowie...

  • No one will ever be rembered more than the Beatles. They were and always will be the greatest rock band ever.

  • Kanye must be an alien living on another planet, just occasionally visiting us,

to not realise the impact of The Beatles.

    Let's ask the people:

Songs played by other people: Yesterday alone holds the record of being the most covered song ever. Anyone heard anyone playing Coldplay in the streets?

And in 40 years, as if it was just yesterday?

The Beatles's albums get way higher ratings. Check out the RateYourMusic portal.

The Beatles were also a cultural phenomena. Coldplay? Nope.

  • Liking Coldplay over The Beatles is one thing

    BUT

  • Fuck Off, Coldplay are the best!

  • If I had to pick one, It would be IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN. but I have to agree with RHMETAL, it probably is very unrealistic since, directly or indirectly they influenced fuckin everybody!

  • Nobody will be remembered more than The Beatles, because like it or not, The Beatles influenced EVERYBODY! They were revolutionary! That question was probably asked 30 years ago. The Beatles had spot on vocals, music, and songwriting! Everything they did was a hit, and cherished by the world! The question was not "What's your favorite band?" or "Who's better?". The question was "Who would be remembered more than The Beatles?" Well, who's done half of what The Beatles have done?

  • weswarren1 you sir ... are an idiot. The beatles are 10000000 times better than Slipshit and Poo fighters. I THINK that one of the most rememberd bands will be ... LEd ZEppelin, Nirvana ,The Who , The rolling stones, KISS , Metallica ( but sadly MegaDeth are VERY underrated and are in the shadow of metallica ,even though they are 1000 times better than metallica) , BUT still the most remembered band will be The Beatles ... Dude it's the beatles .

  • @dezard36 Nirvana or Smashing Pumpkins for sure.

  • slipknot or the foo fighters. but the beetles suck

  • The Beatles

  • ALTER BRIDGE!!!!

  • yessssss new tcv!!!!!!

  • Kanyeeeeee iss riiighttt wooohooo!!!!!!

  • @nickygou32 in your dreams maybe

  • @nickygou32 FUCK U

  • @ DX4LIFFE amen to that. My best bet is that weezer probably will be remembered.

  • By the way they're received in a lot of places- Green Day probably. I'm not happy with it, but it's realistic.

  • metallica.

  • Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers = Those bands are INCREDIBLY unique in there own way like no other and I feel people will smarten up and remember them.

  • @DX4LIFFE I'm gamagachee just to let you know, I changed accounts lol

  • radiohead will take over the world and their music wil be anthems for every country.

  • what!? the beatles will always be THE best band of all time.

  • linkin park probablyyyyyyyy

+ your laugh, was epic. ;D

  • @BIRANLOL Linkin Park is dieing out they'll be gone in maybe 5 years. : /

  • i would say foo fighters

  • realisticly...u2,Possibly Foo Fighters Or Linkin Park

  • in no particular order, remembered as musical innovators rather than commercial sellers... or household names. here goes; 1. beck 2. pink floyd 3. rolling stones 4. white stripes 5. muse 6. qotsa 7. radiohead 8. led zeppelin 9. nirvana 10. animal collective 11. bjork 12. chili peppers 13. bowie 14. cream 15. air 16. flaming lips? :s theres probably a load more obvious ones i've missed, but these were from the top of my head :)
  • david bowie! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • Nirvana and hopefully the Foo Fighters. If they're not already, Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin

  • metallica , ozzy osbourne, white stripes, and the red hot chili peppers

  • RHCP probably wont but It could happed I do like them and John Frusciantes solo career.

  • Maybe not more than, but probably just as much. 30 years down the road, I'd say AC/DC for sure and possibly Metallica

  • U2. They've lasted this many decades already.

  • -sigh- Oh Bowie, you're getting too old for this.....keep denying us music and you'll be dead before you get the chance to make more. I agree with the Trent Reznor idea - "I'm Afraid of Americans" is my favorite collab he's ever done.

  • OMFG I'm so going to that tour for Radiohead's new album!!!!!!!!!

  • @LetsGetHighOnMorris me too i need to see them before i die

  • im sorry kanye, but beatles was one of the greatest bands of all time,of ALL TIME!

  • I think Possibly Green Day, definitely U2 and AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen also

  • Haven't we had asimilar RQ before not so long ago? oh well.

  • blink-182

  • This is why I have trouble admitting I like Kanye's music. Q: U2

  • tool, eminem. this is a hard one because music isnt as popular as it use to be when the beetles were playing

  • Radiohead

  • I would have to say the only bands that seem really likely would be Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones. Slight possibilities would be AC/DC, Pink Floyd and The Who.

  • the only two bands that would come close are led zeppelin and the rolling stones.

you're a fool kanye... and you kids who say "green day!!!" are even more foolish.

  • Pink Floyd/Radiohead

  • RADIOHEAD will be the best!!!!coldplay is the same song over and over again no originality, and omg ANOTHER gorillaz album best year for music for me

  • Maybe not more, but at least as much as the Beatles, probably Nirvana.

  • Nirvana or AC/DC

  • the rolling stones, since theyll probably still be touring...

  • RHCP if they can stay as consistant doubtful though. Maybe the strokes if they can get their heads out of their asses, but I doubt it.

  • I really hate to say it but mabey Weezer

  • u2 :)

  • Justin Bieber

I hate it as mush as you do but you know it's going to happen

  • @hockeypuck345 Don't worry justin bieber will be a has been and addicted to heroine in about 4 years

  • The Beatles will be remembered more than the Beatles. Don't say that can't do that, it's the Beatles.

  • Noone!!

  • Kanye, Imma let you finish, but The Beatles are the greatest band of all time!

  • Ozzy, Nirvana, Metallica or Avenged Sevenfold

  • MetallicA

  • NIRVANA!

  • Never heard of coldplay. The beatles forever.

  • no new david bowie??? NNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • see the cool thing about it, when i get older, like grandpa older, i get to tell my grandkids about how good the music was back in the day, The Beatles, Def Leppord, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, I can make my grandkids fans of the beatles. While coldplay, which is much newer, won't have as much fans, so it won't be remembered as much

  • 4:56

    JOKER

  • i think RHCP could do it

  • Kanye didn't say that he thought Coldplay were better than the Beatles. It was a comment on how popularity works these days.

  • Don't forget this is coming from the guy who thought 3 chicks dancing on a white background was the "greatest video of all time"

  • HAHAHA FUCK YOU RADIOHEAD FANBOY

  • who the fuck is coldplay;)

  • iron Maiden not in the US though but everywhere else yes

  • Comment removed

  • Mr. White and the White Stripes

  • I think Coldplay is starting to be forgotten about

  • Alter Bridge!

  • Honestly, Eminem. I mean that's the most realistic thing I can think of, cause there's no bands that I can think of at the moment that mass such an audience as the beatles, but I doubt Eminem will be remembered more than the Beatles I doubt anyone modern artist will be.

  • @anubisgothlord realli??? i thinking Lil Wayne or Jay Z or maybe U2

  • honestly... the beatles will b just legends in 30 years. none of the beatles will be alive by then... so there will be no new stuff from them anymore.

but it's hard to think what band may probably be remembered more than the beatles

  • best episode yet!!! kanyes an idiot!!! and every single piece of information excited me!

  • Foo Fighters or Green Day.

  • Kanye, you silly. What a joke!

  • kings of leon lololol

  • white stripes/jack white

  • sami>kanye

  • Probably none, and if any then probably Queen, possibly Iron Maiden and Metallica and of the newest bands then Avenged Sevenfold has a shot

  • Disturbed, they have been going for 10 years now and their fanbase is still increasing. also they are one of the few bands of the 21th century who remained the same genre and didn't go mainstream to sell more albums

  • @HellSpear7 you're ....god fail. just fail.

  • @VendettasTruthSH you're the fail

he asks which band will be remembered in the future, a band with a still increasing fanbase after 10 years has a huge potential to be remembered in quite some time.

oh and ppl could also go continue calling bands such as metallica and all the other older famous bands. but while they still will be remembered as great bands new bands will take their places with new generations.

the same will happen with the next generation, that's the way music works.

  • @HellSpear7 ermm. Interesting theory, though I seriously doubt it. Lots of bands have been going for 10+ years. And the fact they have remained in the same genre just shows they aren't very versatile, just because you change your genre doesn't mean you sell out.

And also, they really aren't THAT popular. I mean, they are pretty big right now, but they're more in the middle than on top right now. I hardly ever hear people talk about them, unlike bigger bands.

  • @GRIFpenguin well yeah it's true they don't belong to the big bands yet (though they do belong to the big once from the 21st century i guess).

oh and disturbed does have quite some difference in their songs (high notes, heavier singing, soft songs) but anyway the main thing is, they are performing pretty well live while for example metallica is going worse, iron maiden is still going good but age will kill them eventually etc. :P

anyway the only way to see it is to w8 for it :D

  • @HellSpear7 Have you heard thier latest album it FUCKING SUCKS.

  • @Itachihates fucking sucks? man it's just as great as their other albums

it shows alot of maturation in the band, the riffs are just as great, the solo's are just are good as well and the singing is a bit believe like.

you might not like it, but you know it's called a taste.

and btw if it 'fucking sucks', why did it hit 1st place once again?

have fun hating great albums :)

  • @HellSpear7 How does sales make an album good.

  • @Itachihates sales don't make something good but it shows that they are at least pretty popular

and ofcourse i can't tell you to like them just because i say it

but, if you've liked the previous albums you should like the new one as well.

  • JACK WHITE HE BROUGHT IT BACK

  • Jack White most likely

  • The White Stripes, they brought simplicity back to the forefront of rock.

  • Even though I hate them now, Green Day

  • I'm thinking quite possibly Green Day, because really, who has never heard of and/or dislike Green Day?

  • The only band of our generation that I think has a chance is Radiohead, their musical innovation and progression over time is similar to that of The Beatles. There's other up-and-comers like Arcade Fire and yes, if Nirvana was around longer they may have made it. But Coldplay? Seriously?

  • Michael Jackson, hands down.

  • I don´t know about more than the Beatles but I think White Stripes, or Jack White, will be considered one of the greats of this generation. Who can put out the hits and still stay interesting? It´s a pity about Kurt. I think Nirvana had a chance to be the next Beatles. I guess we´ll never know.

  • Coldplay is the worst band I have ever encountered in my entire life. The band that I believ will be remembered more than The Beatles, a recent band, in the future, would have to be Metallica. Maybe. I'm not a huge fan of them, but they seem to have gotten really big over the past year because of Death Magnetic, and they've been around since the 80's.

  • @filmmaker24456 BROKENCYDE.

  • Kanye East is a fucking dumb fuck. The Beatles will always be the greatest band of all time forevor.

  • Seriously? I don't think anyone can beat the Beatles, maybe Led Zepplin but they were are during the same time...tho maybe NIN considering that "The Downward Spiral" is just behind "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club" as the second most influencial album of all time. Yet, you still must think about how The Beatles changed the face of music, now I would have to say maybe Nirvana, but still that's like walking on thin ice...

  • The Beatles will never be forgotten. The only other bands that could be remembered as much as the Beatles would be Led Zeppelin , Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and Rush. Jack White and Radiohead are definetly more modern artists that will be remembered.

  • the rolling stones

  • metallica

  • only the beatles can pwn the beatles

  • i guess the beatles will be kind of forgotten then... (was this futur 2?)

  • One band that could give the Beatles a run for their money in terms of rememberance I think would probably be Led Zeppelin. They're one of the most influentional bands EVER!

  • the beatles.

  • nirvana, metallica, pink floyd, led zep, rhcp, gnr

why is everyone saying green day?? dat band sux ass now, they were better before. I hardly ever hear em in radio station..

  • The Rolling Stones. They're never gonna die

  • Why do u have little kids in your house?

  • Green Day, Metallica, Rush

  • metallica

  • the only real reason the beatles are still remembered today is becuz they're basically the founders of rock. they'll never be replaced

  • not green day

  • of course a band will eventually become more popular than the beatles! does anyone listen to music from the 1800s? course not. or if you do, youre one odd individual. music will be so different 30 years from now that people will hear the beatles and be like what are you my great grandpa?

now, i doubt it will be coldplay, i doubt that it will be any band of this era, but in the next 20 years or so the beatles will be replaced

  • @TheBigDirty1000

LMFAO! you are really ignorant. Belive it or not there are classical music radio stations and they are still being listened to today, and even new people learning piano learn easy classical songs, and there are orchestras, concerts etc of people playing music from the 1800s.

  • Megadeth and Metallica

  • Green Day. end of.

  • DAMN YOU KANYE!!!! THE BEATLES WILL BE REMEMBERED MOAR!!! I think its going to be both the Beatles and Nirvan.

  • Truthfully i do not think any band will ever rival the beatles so....

  • Green Day

  • In terms of older groups, Rush will be remembered more. As for newer artists, Tool will be beter rememberd if they actually release some more music!!!! Unfortunately, no bands of the last 15 years have a chance in hell of beeing better rememberd. Let's face it, the Beetles were at the right place at theright time.

  • Probably Green day

  • should be the chilis, cant turn down music that great but it will probably be someone lame as fuck like metallica

  • check out rawleighj presents raw the mc so and so

just search raw the mc so and so and enjoy

  • foo fighters!!! :D

  • i definetly think that the beatle were not the best band of all time because their are planty of bands nowadays that are more talented but its impossible to make such a breakthrough now like the beatles did.

the only band in the last 10 years that i can see making such an impression on rock music is MUSE.

matts a piano and a guitar genius and is the only artist that combines classical with heavy rock. and he does it to perfection

  • @realMUSICisMUSE

Dude, the Bealtes changed the way music is recorded (stereo, concept albums), changed film and televison (4 films and they "invented" MTV), fashion (mop tops and Beatle boots) and they influenced 10 times as many bands any other band has.

Muse haven't even done 10% of that.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids Thats pretty much because the music industry is far more advanced now and its not as easy.

im only namin a band from the 21st century because the others would be too obvious.

i dont disaggree that The beatle havent influenced most bands but just because your the first to make a sound doesnt mean you are better at it then others.

MUSE (NME's best riff of the decade - PIB, Guitarist of the decade Best frontman of the decade. aswell as writing a fucking 40 Piece orchestral symphony)

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids aswell as being a candidate for best live band in the world.

Matt is in the top 30 guitarist in the world(invincble solo)

they are pretty much the only band that have successfully made classical popular aswell and no matter how hard you argue you cant deny that the music of the beatles is better then classical music.

i amnt saying that the beatles arent the best band of all time. im just putting up a comment as the ROIB wanted suggesting

  • @realMUSICisMUSE "Thats pretty much because the music industry is far more advanced now and its not as easy."

Lol, you know back then in the days when the Beatles were recording, you could say the exact same thing. I'm not saying Muse sucks, I'm just saying they haven't got a chance against the Beatles. Oh, and the 40 piece orchestral symphony isn't that impressive, Paul McCartney did something similar and the Beatles used an orchestra for "A Day in the Life".

  • coldplay will be remembered for their Joe Satriani cover. What? What do you mean it wasnt a cover?

  • trolling time: answer to question: creed

  • ac/dc

  • there was so much fckin news today! YES!

  • Probably Metallica i hope not -_-

  • Sabbath :)

  • i dont like either band, but the beatles were inavotive in the 60's, coldplay are boring as fuck

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana or none :D But I don't really think there will be anything as iconic as the Beatles ever again.

  • Oasis

  • Nirvana.

  • no band will ever be more remembered than the beatles its been what 40-50 years since they started at they still have a growing fan base. so to your question no band will ever be more remembered than the beatles :)

  • red hot chilli peppers

  • Led Zeppelin of course

  • Does Led Zeppelin count? Because they would be the band that would be remembered like The Beatles, they made Hard Rock the way it is today.

  • NIRVANA.

  • U2 will be remember for their music, and for who the band is, especially Bono. He gives away to Charity and wants the world to be a better place to live in.

  • nirvana

  • nickelback will be remembered......

    for ever!!

  • @calupy Well i hope to god not!

  • thank god david bowie is not releasing new music coz he is crap

  • @eggmobile123 Nope.

  • Slipknot

  • that's not right the beatles are better

  • The thing is is that every revolutionary band of a decade is always remembered as "The Beatles of '90s" (for example) and therefore the Beatles will never be forgotten.

  • muse!!!!

  • Honestly, it will always be The Beatles but I think Hendrix will always be around too simply because of his guitar playing skills.

  • ...did you just ask us which band we REALISTICALLY think will be remembered more than The Beatles in thirty years? My response? Rewind the video to 4:55.

  • Who'll be more remembered than the Beatles in 30 years?

    No one.

Unless maybe next year or something, a super awesome new band will come that will revolutionize everything...

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids:

    Which...probably won't happen, LOL.

  • @RS1Comedy1Vids get ready for the storm.

  • METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!
