Anybody know if they do a credit check when you pre-order? I'm asking because I'm 19 with no credit history, so I don't want to pre-order then when I go in to get my phone not quality for it, so I'd rather them do the check when I'm in there pre-ordering.

@kool1160 okay cuz i was gonna do it through the sprint store but it was 199 with mail in rebate. and i tried like if i was gonna open a line and they didnt ask for nething no deposit or no credit check. well i was doing it online. so i guess i shouldnt have a problem. but i wsa just asking cuz i thought it could be different. so i can just pay for the phone and i dont have do any contract for 2 yrs. you just pay for the phone?

@kool1160 well the thing about me credit is that i dont have any . cuz when i was in tmobile the account was under my uncles name. so i didnt do any credit. that is why im askin if that get in the way. so just the phone and when can i do the contract with the plan that i want and pay for the activation fee.

@rlndo they give u the gift card and u put it towards the phone and pay 150 or keep the card for something else and pay the 200. hope that helps. i just pre ordered mine and they said because of the demand at "other" stores was so great that i may have to wait til the 9th :/

Do you know if that will switch over when i upgrade to the 4g (b/c i no longer work for the company that i got the employee discount with)? If so i'd just keep that instead of the credit union thing.
