I just read on the UK Telegraph site that Julian is allowing the beatles museum to display some of the artifacts he has that belonged to John.

"He and his mother Cynthia will appear together at a ceremony later this month when he will lend his collection to the Beatles museum in Liverpool." I am so glad about that, the two of them have every right.

I was ecstatic when Julian released his first album. What a voice!

In interviews, he comes across as very "together" . And I believe his hurt is real. He was ignored by his father and the pictures of them together seem awkward except when he visited John and May Pang in California.

I think Ono was threatened by Julian's presence and tried to keep a wedge between John and his family in England.

I also believe that Lennon and Ono were on the rocks marriage wise when he was killed.

Yes very together. I saw an interview last nite and Jules stated that he believes Yoko KNEW wht she ws doin frm the start. (using shrt terms, I run out of room) Also, as thy grw close before th shooting, John was changing his will to put Jules in it. Amazing how that turned out.. Lennon alledgedly asked Douglas "do you think women will find me attractive?" and that Lennon had a fondness for model Maude Adams.

That Lennon should ask such a question makes me think that his self esteem was low at the time.

On my first visit to the US I decided to see this exhibition. I would never describe myself as an avid Lennon/Beatles fan but have to say the exhibition was excellent - all other exhibits also. JL was a part of history and I remember the day he died. J and Y's relationship was their business and nobody elses to own or control. No one can really know how they influenced each other though they seemed happy together and isn't that the important thing...
