OW, they have a constipated motormouth guy on the PA all the time? Thanks for letting me know, I was thinking about going over to see the races but I really hate "sports-commentator-style" PA morons. Would otherwise have been so lovely to see and hear those planes roaring around the sky.

Look for Jimmy Leaward in Galloping Ghost next year. I had the privilege of seeing it being put together in Mckinney Tx. before the races. it has the shortest wings of any p-51 (5 foot off of each wing) and no belly scoop. She'll be really fast.

@P51Mustang11 - I heard that Dago Red is being restored back to vintage. Something about the bank taking the plane back. They're also going to replace the engine with a Rolls Royce Merlin.

So if that's true, no more Dago Red.

Yay! Steve hinton Jr. won! Awesome -I was there from the F -15's taking off onward until the end of the Blue Angels.

I liked the Blue Angels just fine...it was the loudmouth DJ and his shitty music that ruined it for me. The planes make their own music.

yeah, a friend of my parents, and me, had a plane there (BT -13) on display, so we got VIP passes, so we were right on the flight line, it was awesome.

@ammosmith - Amen ammosmith. Luckily some don't have to hear it. My brothers are pylon judges at pylon 1. They can see the grandstand but don't have to listen to the guy on the PA.

I just wish he would call each plane as they pass by. "In 1st place, Strega" "In second place, Rare Bear" instead of the constant talking and Top Gun musac.

Thank you for posting such a great video, I totally missed this years races completley. What an absolute fantastic gold final race, Rare Bear totally shocked me right out of me seat when I saw his wild, and crazy new paint job, cant miss him now. even though I am still used to after all of these years his original paint job. Thanks again for a fantastic video....
