  • sooo goooood

  • I drive mine almost every single day. There is no way to describe the feeling it gives you. Granted it does not have the dependability of a new modern day car but so long as you keep up with the maintenance schedule they can be pretty trouble free. I would not trade it for anything. Find one & buy it

Diablo not only broke the 200mph barrier it did it at 211mph. Not Ferrari. I know it's killing you Ferrari owners and just so you know I'm a Ferrari fan to but facts are facts. Time to get over it.

  • F40 broke the 200mph barrier, not Diablo!

  • Diablo, my fav all time lambo.

  • Lamborghini Diablo was the first car to hit 340 KM/H OR 210 MPH. End of story. Thank you.

Love Ferrari but facts are facts

Watch Midyland2002 thumb nail on right of this page.

  • oh, the guy's wrong, Ferrari F40 was the first production car to hit 200mph (201 to be precise)

  • Not only was the Diablo the first car to hit 200mph it went beyond that to hit 210mph.

Watch video by midyland2002....Lamborghini Diablo at 340 KM/H to the right of this page. Yellow Diablo. END OF STORY!!!

  • "The Diablo was the first production car to hit 200 mph"

    Ferrari F40

    Porsche 959

    ???????????

  • @HFLanciaStratos I always thought the F40 was the first production car to hit 200mph, but I have since read that the F40 was not really considered a normal 'production car' due to the very limited numbers that were built and the circumstances surrounding its production. As for the 959, to my knowledge, I've never read or seen where a stock 959 achieved or exceeded 200mph. And, like the F40, it is not considered by many as a normal 'production car' either.

  • @malochala There were about 1300 F40s made and a little under 3000 Diablos made. The Diablo had a production run of almost twice as long, however. A 'production' car is pretty much any car that is produced in multiple numbers for the purpose of public sale using standardized parts.

I'm almost certain that the 959 has broken the 200 mph barrier as well.

Not to say that the Diablo isn't a good car, of course. It's damn near perfect.

  • @HFLanciaStratos I didn't realize there were that many F40s made. That's almost as many as the total number of Countach models ever produced. So, if that number is correct, yes, I would have to agree. Sounds like a production car to me. Speaking of the Countach, it was never officially considered as a 200mph car, but there are scattered reports of unmodified units meeting or exceeding 200mph.

  • @malochala I'm not sure actually, but I'm certainly aware of rumours of Koenig tuned Countaches breaking 200 mph, and even certain Vectors...

  • @HFLanciaStratos Countaches were notorious for their variance in power output and overall performance, especially when brand new. This was generally because of the very tight tolerances of which their drivetrains were constructed. After a suitable break in period, many of them actually performed noticeably better. In case you are wondering, I only know this because of books I've read and actual owners with whom I've had the pleasure of speaking at length. I have never driven a Lamborghini.

  • @HFLanciaStratos Sorry for the double post.....ooops.

I always liked the Vectors, but I suspect their actual performance fell below what was claimed by the manufacturer. At one time, I read somewhere they were purported to have been capable of in excess of 250mph, and that was twenty years ago. I sure don't believe that figure.

  • viperbiker1 u really are dumb man i told you that before and i see you remember it,now shut the fuck up and stay dumb like always!!!worthless dumb ass!!!

  • @crashvolt

Crashvolt, you're such a Gay Wanker and Lambo hating dusch bag. Now go back playing with your computer dollies. You're the biggest dumb ass girly boy I've ever run into so U shut the F**k up!

  • @viperbiker1 fuck off u dumb bitch don't try to be smart it doesn't working!!!

  • Nice!! But I'm gonna be a nerd and make a correction. In 1987 the Ferrari F40 was the first ever street car to push 200mph.

  • viperbiker1 shut up homo i don't like the clip that's why i said gay u dumb shit!!! i like that car it's my favorite!fucker

  • @crashvolt

Can you believe this crashvolt thinks Lambo's are gay! What an idiot! The guy is from England and is a total dick! Now he's trying to back track and deny his earlier statements. Make up your mind gay boy wanker !! Why do we have to put up with these little jerkoffs on these sites?

If you love Lamborghini's as much as I do send this little Lambo hater (crashvolt) homo an email.

  • You calling a Lamborghini GAY?? What are you some kind of idiot??? Your Gay and stupid!! What a moron!!

  • gay

  • @crashvolt

    Crash volt is totally GAY!!!

  • @crashvolt Wow, YOU just achieved a whole new degree in terms of Gayness!

  • the diablo... the last true lamborghini before audi bought it

  • Correction, F40 did 200mph 1987.

  • The Countach and the Diablo were the coolest looking cars ever made. It's a tough call, but I think the Diablo is the coolest looking car ever.

  • wtf!!! he said syzer doors

  • I prefer it over the Countach style wise and interior.

  • best looking lambo. much better than the knewer ones

  • I still have a 4ft poster on my wall of this beast.

  • So much better looking than the newer Diablos, as well as the Murcielago and Gallardo

  • HEY AUDI, ARE YOU WATCHING? TAKE NOTES

  • Wow this guy looks like a complete douche.

  • what song was this playing?

  • I thought the Ferrari F40 was the first production car to hit 200 mph - I think it came out in '87. The Diablo may have been the first Lamborghini production car to hit 200 mph.

  • @noaaflyboy2005 They got to 197 or so I believe

  • @cavaderblood Yep, F40 was 197 with the standard 470 BHP, the RWD Diablo did 212 mph (as seen in the Sandro Munari top speed video)

  • Diablo was the first production car to hit 200mph.

  • A black Diablo with pepper pot alloys has to be one of the most evil looking cars ever made.

  • @Hennersbass the diablo is a real "devil" to even to try to beat! :P

  • @deanP382

I noticed that to. The video does not go with the sound or you would hear a down shift rather than an up shift. I figure they thought no one would notice........WRONG!

  • You're correct, idiots who don't know that the diablo features a dogleg transmission (reverse top left, first gear bottom left) gave me a thumbs down.

  • @deanP382

You've got to love the know nothing know it all's. They have never as much as sat in a Lambo let alone drive one

but yet they can tell all about it.

  • I was incorrect, he is downshifting from 2nd to 1st, although accelerating. It is truly an amazing experience driving a Lamborghini.

  • @deanP382

They really are amazing cars. It just so happens that I purchased the car in this video from them a year ago. I had the car completely gutted and reupholstered and painted candy apple red. I have a 99 Viper the same candy color. I thought I would NEVER get rid of the Viper until I bought the Lambo. Two totally different worlds and two totally different driving cars. I almost never drive the Viper anymore and it's for sale along with a matching SRT/10 Viper bike and custom trailer.

  • Yea the viper is a completely different ride from the diablo. I haven't purchased my own supercar yet as I'm only 19, but I have been very fortunate to have driven my father and uncle's many cars (Diablo, gallardo, countach, LP-640, rt/10 viper and more). My dream is to buy a countach, I know I will soon enough.

  • i just put together a slideshow showing all lamborghini models to date. take time to view - watch?v=ksNmnQxj24E

  • My favorite Lamborghini still. It's styling is timeless.

  • Agreed totaljett.

  • @totaljett me 2

  • @totaljett

    I agree

  • @totaljett That car, i dream about my whole life) It's styling is really timeless..=^_^=

  • @totaljett My favorite Lamborghini still. Its styling is timeless. Bad grammar is also timeless.

  • @rocaho001 Checking grammar on Youtube is like complaining about the lack of foreplay in porn.

  • @totaljett Confusing it's and its is like not knowing where the clitoris is.

  • @rocaho001 Mommy didn't give you enough hugs, so now you're seeking to validate your existence by spell checking on Youtube. There's nothing clever about your critiquing agenda here, but it does provide a window to your insecurities. True intelligence would enable you to appreciate the creation of Youtube and celebrate the comradery it evokes. Use your similation of intelligence to grasp the bigger picture.

  • @totaljett Wow, so much one of the Top 10 OWNING phrases! Dude, you Fucking Rule!

  • @totaljett what do u think of the new Aventador? :)

  • @marcz4100 I think it's hot but simply looks like a tweaked Murcielago. I would like to something totally different.

  • @totaljett agreed i thought the murc had a bit to much audi looks the SV was bad ass tho diablo is still my favorite

  • @totaljett

Same here, the only downside is I hear it's not a good daily driver. : (

  • Theres a video right in the related videos of the diablo hitting 340kph

  • F40 development program took shape at first not just as the f40...does 288 evoluzione ring a bell?that was pre 1987 but frankly, who gives a s**t these cars are so impressive and are so nice to watch:)peace

  • Ferrari f40 was the first to hit , some say 314 some say 324kph. Then diablo came with 325kph

  • 300 km/h is is only 186mph.

  • That's right 322km=200mph

  • i would take the DIABLO SE 30 JOTA..that´s the bomb!..but if i would to choose a regular diablo then it would be a 1993 model..because of the newer interior..the 1991-1992 looks like a tractor inside the dash board i mean..and a diablo without a wing is like superman with no cape!

  • Correction- It was the first production car to hit 2002 and for what ever reason some of the early models hit 207mph.

  • The Diablo wasnt the first production car to hit 200mph!! That was the Ferrari F40 which did 201mph.

  • yeah ferrari f40 came out 1987..and diablo came 1991 on the market..but it was already made 1985 as a prototype..i dont know about the speed.

but the first car to hit 300km/h is ferrari 288 gto.

  • It's an on going battle between Ferrari and Lambo as to who hit the 200 mph mark first. For every "expert" who says Lambo there's an "expert" that says Ferrari. Personally I say who cares. I'll still take the Diablo any day.

  • still not 200mph

  • Damn, makes me want one even more!!!

  • that model is so old and yet looks so nicel.

  • that's why SE (jota) looks like this 1 (outside) even 8 years later :)
