Though this is very unfortunate but I think this is because girls are unsafe with boys. if they will relax the rules ,you will see increase in cases of eve-teasing,harrasment and rape boys always attack girls. Women in India are unsafe and this can be the only way to protect them. Not sure when we men will learn to respect women.Eve teasing is becoming a big problem. I think if men show their commitment in respecting women then colleges dont have to implement such stupid rules.
