  • Do you know what the purpose of this behavior is?

    I've recently seen a different species of horned lizard do this and I couldn't figure out why.

    Has different meaning depending on the way it is wagged and what gender is doing it. Can be excited, can be agitation. I see it in feeding, mating behavior, when stressed.
