I don't think Patsy sang anywhere near as good as KD. In fact it's my opinion that there are/were more than a few girls out there who outsing Patsy including Linda Ronstadt.

Patsy was a great singer but her true greatness wasn't her voice as much as it was her individuality. She was and remains unique as well as one of the best vocalists that ever graced a recording studio.

I prefer Patsy Cline also, Mouskouri is the best there is but does not sing too many country songs, the best singing I ever heard from KD Lang was as a backup singer for Roy Orbison and the one country cd she made many years ago.
