  • this is intrasting wow

to watching my culture belldance with japanes dance ...

    so cool

i hope i can learn it someday

  • if i were a woman, I think I would be a belly dancer. But I am a man, so I dance rumba columbia instead.

  • @dleddy14 Men can belly dance too. There's not as many but there are male belly dancers

  • @Kikilightheart Fair enough. But for me it seems not the way I would like to express myself through dance. I like guaguanco and rumba better for my own personal expression, but I love watching good belly dancers. Thanks for the heads up though.

  • @dleddy14 I wasn't sure if you knew so I was just telling you.

  • Just because you're bellydancing with fans doesn't make it "Japanese fusion". I had hoped to see at least *some* influence from traditional/classical Japanese dance besides the use of props. :(

  • Wow, this fusion is really interesting! The music is awesome - i know the first one, but what is the second. Is it also Yoshida broth? I apologize for asking, coz I know dancers do not like to give away their music.... but if you can tell who is the artist, I would be grateful ;)))) thanks in advance ;)))

  • Her posture and arms are what really take away from the preformance. Her back is straight and rigid like a ballerina's when it should be relaxed and curved (difficult for me to describe it any different). In belly dancing, your arms frame your body and if they're stiff, it kills the presentation and makes you look unnatural. Overall there wasn't enough Japanese, but you could see the effort she put it in and that deserves props!

  • AHHH! This is so weird!

The song is by the Yoshida Brothers. When I first heard their music I pictured bellydancing. Then I get into bellydancing and see people BELLYDANCING to their music! XD

  • :D Yay yoshida bros music!

  • Nice!!!

  • Gosh! Japanese culture and bellydance...It is so hard to mesh the two together! Kudos to you <3

  • I would also love to know whose music this is.

Shame musicians never seem to get credit for THEIR work.

  • The music is played by The Yoshida Brothers ^_^

  • I agree that she needs to improve her bellydancing, and I found there's not enough fusion with japanese style

  • I love music, I find this idea new and awesome but the dancer has to improve her bellydance, sorry. I want to see thi performance in a better bellydancer performance

  • Love the video specially when it comes to the first music. can anyone tell me where i can find it? beautifull!!!

  • wow. beautiful!

  • oh, and question: is that a katana being used??

  • I belive its a scymitar(terrible spelling I'm sure)

  • wow!! this is awesome!! my two passions (japanese culture and bellydance)put into one!! this is really great. kudos! ^_^
