I thought about being a PvP launcher class, but u would have to max out cannonball which is garbage in dungeons, and not max out a lot of better stuff. Also i would have to buy aerial fire and the busters. so u knda have to be a noob.

Thanks, once you know the other classes skills it becomes pretty easy to predict their movements to pull them off, and the launcher classes long range lets you capitalize on it.

the latest records are completely off balance from bots, people didn't actually win 10k+ matches with 0'sh losses. Prior to pvp bot spam however, it was fighters/slayers/one mech.

don't use the in-game recorder. I use fraps, but you can use xfire's recorder and it's free, and decent quality.

When you use your laser rifle, it seems you have no recoil and immediatly move or go into another attack.

When i use laser rifle it pushes me back a ton and i cant do what you do after.

Two things, was leveling your G-buster worth it and what is your opinion on Eagle eye?

eagle eye is too short in pvp. For pve it's fine, not worth it in pvp though, I'd take those points and just put them into cannon mastery instead. Leveling your grenade is one of the most important things you can do, bouncing people with it is key for a lot of your combos.

hold a charge for a very short period of time, then launch it. It doesn't take long for it to get the explosion effect, but sometimes you'll just hold it in in case they're using quick rebound and use it slightly after to make sure you hit.

Yep, pure pvp. You really don't need to train any of the cancels since you don't use the standard x combo, the points can be saved and spent elsewhere.

personally i don't like launchers for pve. In a group its not bad, but solo, it's terrible (in my opinion at least). Even if you decide to max firearm mastery to help with mana, you'll be out before you get to the boss unless it's a short dungeon. For PvE I generally mess around on a weapon master or my grappler.

np man. AOE = area of effect, like a grenade has a larger aoe (area of effect) the more you rank it, making it easier to land a hit and start up a bbq or steyr/cannonball.

You'll have mana problems in dungeons regardless of if you put points into heavy weapon mastery or not, so I don't even bother, it doesn't make a significant enough difference to be worth the loss of points that can be invested in other skills. I'd rather have more damage for pvp personally.

Feel free to add me or ask me any questions in game, whenever I'm on Destard I'm generally hanging around on the expert bracket somewhere. The song is Qadir - Nickname (remembered it from GTA4, fit perfect with the vid).

My builds pure launcher, most the skills you see on my hotbar are maxed with the exception of punisher, bbq, aerial fire (one point each). Firepillar/laser/FM/Steyr/Cann­onball all maxed, gattling is only ranked to 5 to unlock FM. Remaining points in hand cannon mastery.

Also to save points I don't put anything in the heavy weapon mastery or whatever its called. The skill that lowers mp cost of heavy weapon skills. Those points are better spent in hand cannon mastery for a dmg boost.

One last note, be sure to max the grenade or you'll regret it. The more points in it the bigger the aoe. I also use an avatar chest piece that adds a point to it as well, otherwise you can only get it up to 10 (note that its 11 on my hotbar)

How do you move while using flamethrower?

it's fire pillar, a move launchers get later, which you can move while using (faster as you rank it). Notice how it's a long pillar of flame instead of the low level flamethrower, launchers require 5 ranks in the basic flamethrower to unlock fire pillar though.
