I think Keith being the frontman and former leader of the Circle Jerks should have had perseverance and strength to rise above any personality clashes or mediocrity that seemed to stagnate the circle jerks.Ask yourself..20yrs.from now will anyone remember one off song?

@johnnie5666 It's kind of hard to get your band together when a.) your lead guitarist is a full time member of another band for almost 30 years and b.) the band is just plain lazy. You can't force people to do what they want, short of a gun or badge in your hand.

Keith was in a shitty situation, but he had enough of their BS after trying to motivate them for 16 years, and so he made the best of it with his new band OFF, which I can say I will remember fondly at least 2 or 3 songs :)

It was interesting to hear Keith talk about why he left the Circle Jerks. I was definitely shocked to hear about that, just like when Jim left Pennywise...considering both Jim and Keith had been in their bands for such a long time, I never thought that they would leave. While I'm a fan of OFF!, I hope Keith will return to the Circle Jerks one day.

Talk all the shit you want about Keith but his new band OFF! is the best I've seen since the 80's Punk scene. I've been to Circle Jerks shows and now every NYC OFF! show and OFF! has better energy.
