  • The voice of Canada is strong in this one...

  • Would it be possible to use wood

  • Do you know the specific name for those plates you're using for the cams? I'm using plastic pully systems at the moment and I'd rather upgrade to the kind of ones you have their. But I think I'd get laughed of Home Depot if I asked where they keep their "metal roof circle thingies."

  • @joshwcole11 there*

  • @joshwcole11 No i don't but they should be available at any large hardware store. They are used for fastening down foam insulation on flat roofs you can type in "pre assembled screws and plates" in google image to see them. Hope this helps :)

  • hey i got a great idea instead of using the sheet metal cut slits in the end of the pvc and put the cams in the and drill 2 holes in the side and bolt it together

  • what type of bolts did you for the cam system

  • Ace design on the compound prod Jason, and the video of it in use shows that it works. Great idea. Baz

  • @TheBazFella Hey Baz, thanks

  • What Would you say the poundage is on this design. I like this design because it is so simple.

  • @Iainated about 30lb draw

  • How thick is the PVC?

  • @posiedenfish i think 1 and 1/2"

  • another question what are the angle's on your riser and i also wanted to use double limb to put the cams between them plus again your design is awesome

  • @TheGhost3773 not sure what the angle is, sorry. Double limb will be nice u should post a video when it's done. Again, good luck

    Cheers!

    Jay

  • that is a great job on the prod im going to try to make one a little bigger to use as a bow

  • @TheGhost3773 Well it will work great as a bow, you will need to change the riser but that's easy enough. Thanks for checking out the video and good luck on your bow.

    Jay

  • wat did u use for ur string?

  • @1gangstasexy Just some yellow nylon rope 1/4 inch. Other options are paracord, pullcords (from lawnmowers), and anything that doesn't stretch.

    Cheers!

    Jay.
