  • A little correction there! The sugar being depicted at 19 seconds is not deoxyribose. Instead, it is showing ribose which would be a component of RNA and not DNA. It makes a huge difference.

  • @Deadlyseriousmonkey Nice observation.

  • I missed the part where all this intelligent design demonstrated in this video was shown to be failing...perhaps drche should lay off the 420

  • The whole world*

  • Looking at ignorant comments on YouTube makes me feel like becoming a teacher so that I can make the whole a little less ignorant.

Problem is, you can't teach someone who refuses to learn. Pity.

  • The four bases of DNA are, Adenin, Thymine, Guanine and Cytosine,

these bases form the realms in the latter DNA, they are held together by hydrogen bombs,

three other triplets are meant to stop code-ons (cheats maybe?) and terminate DNA.

What do you mean i misheard? I understand perfectly!

  • i'm sorry, it's helpful, information wise, but i'm looking for something that will actually make me interested to listen. THe voice kinda makes me bored. Sorry :(

  • @5tonyvvvv

Just because you're failling your biology class doesn't mean you should take your anger out on people more intelligent than you ;)

  • @MrDrMcNinja give me break science cant assemble one protein.!!!..or get all left handed amino acids..what a paradox..they make DNA and proteins look so simple..what BS

  • @5tonyvvvv

I'm guessing you're a young child, probably not past the 8th grade, so I'll try to break it down easily for you.

Genetics is useful not just for being a scientist, but is required for becoming a doctor, pharmacist, and every single basic degree relating to science or medicine. Not because it's "fuckin useless" but because it is required. Bullshit degree? Ha. I'm getting a PhD in genetics/bioinformatics. Average salary after 10 years of experience: $124,000. Enjoy flipping burgers boy

  • @5tonyvvvv

I'm also lol'ing pretty hard at your science claims. Labs all over the world use ribosomes from all kinds of model organisms to express proteins from genes. Millions of proteins a day. The insulin in diabetes shots, where did it all come from? Giant vats of E. coli expressing human insulin which is then purified.

Left handed amino acids? Who the fuck cares. No living organism (on Earth) would benefit from a left handed protein. Money goes towards useful things little buddy.

  • @MrDrMcNinja Atheists are so stubborn, they think this RNA research could happen on a primordial earth..HAHAHA

Synthesizing machines trained chemists controlling every step of the experiment, along with activated bases, which were not made from scratch.and controlled TEMPERATURES!!!! would all be found on a primordial earth???

Yeah this is undirected natural processes..LOL

  • @MrDrMcNinja "This engineered RNA" would break down do to the unstable conditions of it..similar to rats leaving a sinking ship..This artificial RNA..has ZERO chance of further evolving into a living cell.

Activated subunits are used along with templates taken from living sources..its not a geochemical relevant reaction.Intelligence created life not time and chance!!

  • @5tonyvvvv

and lastly, "they make DNA and proteins look so simple..what BS". That's because you, as a child, are watching a video oriented towards a child, and made not by a university, but some random dude with no credentials. OF COURSE it will see uncomplicated. Read a scientific paper on the dozens of protein-DNA interactions. Seriously. Google "Transcription termination maintains chromosome integrity," it's easy compared to some papers. You won't make it past the first paragraph. Pathetic.

  • @5tonyvvvv You are pathetic. Keep embracing ignorance, asshole.

  • @RichtoffenRoach Intelligence is needed to create software code or assemble a computer! FAR MORE intelligence is needed for the assemblance of the first Cell and thereby DNA. A DNA code is far more complex in design than All the Worlds Softwares COMBINED!! Therefore we can deduce Intelligent DESIGN! Homochirality and hydrolysis would prevent life from ever starting! It is chemically and mathematically impossible for a single protein to form by chance!

  • @RichtoffenRoach Homochirality is a disaster for naturalistic origins. All amino acids in proteins are 'LEFT-handed', while all sugars in DNA and RNA, and in the metabolic pathways, are 'RIGHT-handed'. Chirality!

A 50/50 mixture of left- and right-handed forms is called a racemate or racemic mixture!!. Which life can't use!! Its what we see in nature and in labs!

Life never came about by time chance natural processes! IMPOSSIBLE!!!

  • @5tonyvvvv Left or right handed: I don't know what are you talking about. Are you suggesting God did it? I honestly don't know. I don't think it all came by chance but that doesn't mean there is a lovely God, if that's what you're suggesting.

  • at 0:20 you say deoxyribose, but the sugar shown is a ribose as it has the 2'-OH group

  • Science #FTW

    Creationist #FAIL

  • @5tonyvvvv

I'm pretty sure "LOL" is the only correct response to that tirade. Not even scientists can claim a natural abiogenesis to be impossible. You're going about this wrong. You've selected a conclusion and are going about collecting evidence for it. Scientists observe verifiable phenomena (facts), gather evidence, then form a theory. You're doing it backwards.

  • @drche420 watch "Intelligent Design - Unlocking The Mysteries Of Life" and you`ll realize you`re the one who fails by prejudging what might be true and ruling out a cause for life (intelligence) even before evidence has a chance to speak only because you don`t like it or associate it with religion

  • @lucasmez

So the information in this video is so poor that you can't even paraphrase? I don't want to read someone else's ridiculous thoughts. I want to read Your ridiculous beliefs. I'm open to evidence. The problem is you only offer arguments. The conclusion can only be known to be true if the premises are proven true. Frankly, you have no evidence to support your arguments. Use critical thinking.

  • @drche420 You are right...I can`t really paraphrase, but only because my native language is not English and honestly I`m not good at it...Now if you don`t wanna watch it, don`t blame me but only yourself for closing your mind for possible and reasonable explanations, anyway I`ll give it a try though it is hard to do it in few words...The thing is, Evolution is a very acceptable and reasonable theory to explain how life evolved, but only that, how it evolved..

  • @lucasmez

You don't understand. If all you can do is refer me to someone else's thoughts, why should I talk to you? You obviously aren't thinking for yourself, pal.

  • @drche420 What do you mean? what was I supposed to do? finish the genome project myself? my friend, all we know today is due to the accumulated knowledge human beings have gattered and discovered throughout time..If I can`t refer to someone else`s idea and I was supposed to know this already, why are you watching this video, and what about evolution, that`s someone else`s idea, theory, all we do is to use ideas of ppl who came before us and build upon it.

  • @lucasmez

I have no problem with you paraphrasing, in your own words, an idea that you clearly understand. However, when all you can do is refer me to where you get your thoughts from, you're useless. Just a sheep spreading misinformation.

  • @drche420 But I did paraphrased it to you...I just didn`t want to at first because of the reasons I told you: I`m not good at it, and doing it in English is quite hard for me.

  • @drche420 At the time the theory of evolution was created nobody knew how complex life was, nobody knew there was DNA. Now where did the DNA came from..DNA is the most efficient information storage system ever known to man, and it contains exactly that, information, a program, of how our body, and every other living thing must be "built".

  • @drche420 Our "code" could fit a book of +/- 500,000 pages, and every letter has to be in its right place so we can be built perfectly, of course there are some errors, mutations that happens, that causes diseases, etc...That is exactly the problem scientists have today: "where did this info. came from? it is impossible for the to have arranged themselves to create this much information, but materialists say so, they 'believe' so..

  • @drche420 The thing is, it is possible, and very reasonable to think that the code has been written by someone, just use your critical thinking as you said..If you see a message written on the sands of the beach, for example "I love you", that`s info. I think it would require more faith to think it is there because the water of the ocean created it through time, b it billions of year, than to think someone wrote it..

  • great vid...but i dont get why the lagging strand has to be made in obazaki fragments

  • WOW! this is SO much information in 4 and a half minutes! neat!

  • this was helpful thanks
