  • ok my tone are has a little wist in play in it i can see a little screw undernith the arm i get to it to tighten it?? (please help) thank you so much!!!

  • Does anyone know the part number for the screw for the tone arm rest?

  • @MusicalCopernicus

    xtn3+8b

  • Also, to make things easier, lift the height adjustment as high as it will go. You'll have more room to work with...

  • Thanks a lot. Ordering replacements now...

  • hy, this comment is off topic but I hope you can help me ?! I would like to bye a Torq XPONENT and I would like you to do a demo video with this ! Excuz my english ?! Thank you !

  • Thanks. I just replaced two of them in 10 minutes. The most work was bending the screwdriver :/.

  • please man i need your help you know the 2 little black screws right behind the arm holder that hold the tone arm straight , i need to tighten mine

  • I need to know if my tone arm is bad. Only playing on one side

  • first of all you cant bend a screw driver. even a soft meatle would still snap at 90* I used the drill bit

  • where can i find the tonearm unit the complete thing

  • its not a nightmare at all. You said that about the target light and i fixed me no problem this is the first time i have soldered as well

  • there is a way to replace a tone arm ? mine got broken could you help me thanks.

  • Just to make things even easyer i suggest you go and buy a right angled screw driver. £2.00.

  • Hi, I´ve just got an old and small screw driver bend it like he says in the video, stick firmly below the arm rest and twisted it... and bingo! pretty easy!

  • the screw gos clockwise for any1 thats spent ages on this like me, i also used a phillips screw bit and a pair of pliyers

  • The arm house is not a nightmare to take out its only held on with 3 screws. All you have to do is take off the bottom of the turntable and unscrew the 3 screws and boom you can do what you need to do. You can also swap out the rca cables for some quality one while your under there.

  • Hi ellaskins, Got a similar problem, the screws that are below the technics arm (just behind the Headshell) seem to gone loose, the headshell moves a bit and that makes the sound of the platter to fade or to be heard only in one channel... With this method could i repair it or would i need to take the whole arm away? or any other special equipment? Thankss!!

  • You can also use a 1" phillips "bit tip" used for cordless drills. I used a #1 size tip with some tape on the back (to hold it in place and prevent scratching). Turned with a crescent wrench.

  • thats not 90*

  • some nasty corrosion on there :(

  • Good tips for diy. You can also by angled screwdrivers, racheting screwdriver or a thumb driver tht will fit in there.

  • nice rusty tools haha lol...gud vid

  • @nasrmg

    He has Skype.

  • do you have msn

  • Could you make a demonsration video on taking the whole arm housing away??
