Revenge is the only word, 'that' does not stand in military terms, as a military action, therefore; when a military unit commits revenge, there 'is' no honor. Revenge is the only word you could put on this stupidity of killing old women, men and children. What honor is there in such an action? Therefore, rescind the Medals of Honor for the Wounded Knee Massacre (battle, in military terms).
Read the epic novel "Rescue at Pine Ridge", 5 stars Amazon Int., the story of the revenge and redemption.
I've always been on your side since I was a little girl as I've always been against genocide and hate. At junior high school I read Black Elk Speaks: my native language is not English, so I self-studied. My mother used to say that I came to her from another world. Maybe for the very first time in August I can come to the USA and visit the sacred places and live a while with my Lakota brothers and sisters. It's a great emotion and a honour for me.
we are beautiful, we are proud, we are good people, we are strong, we have morals, we love and live in peace.....why would anyone try and take us away? why would anyone not care, why would you think it was ok if we disappeared? take a min. stop and think, what really happened...I'd love to hear anyone's opinion.
