in my opinion ,its one of the best soundtrack ever , and 80's music ,is somthin that was,an never wll be ,but it was absolutlly goergeus , aspecialy the soundtracks ,of several movies..
@mikebart70 Well, James Horner composed the scores for both movies. Some of the tracks from "48 Hrs." was used for advertising "Commando". That is why it remines you of "Commando".
thanks good music funny video all the old movies seem to be a lot funnyier then the new ones because all the old ones r like pg and have a lot of cursing like silver streak insted of the new ones that are pg13 but the old movies in the 90s\80s r better then the new ones i agree very funny movie!
I know this A48Hrs came out in 1990, but 80's action movies are the best. Today's action movies are just about how much hi-tech shit can u fit into 90 minutes.
Back then it was just plain good guys vs bad guys, lot's of guns, lots of shooting, lots of dead guys, it was great.
Oh and 80's action movies had the best soundtracks!
Gotta agree with that, I miss those good old plots like in 48hrs & A48hrs. Nowadays writers hardly come up with any original good material so they cover the bruises like the lack of plot with special effects and star actors...well yeah eventually it always suck.
Yeah i agree with that. Actually for two weeks i've watched a lot of 80's movie, just like my Eddie Murphy' collection (the both 48hrs, Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to america etc...), "Good Morning Vietnam" etc... and that's the real goddamn cinema for me. I really like that.
I just bought the 2 dvd's with 48 hrs and new 48hrs.
Incredible good movies, serious, good action and thriller, yet still funny moments, delivered by Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte's groggy char. both did a very nice job.
Might sound alittle Cliché'ish, but they just cant make movies like this now'days. Its like they had more time to think about the script, compaired to now'days Holywood movie assembling line
@Alladin1984 I agree, I think movies today rely to much on CGI, back thenthe movies quallity relied on the actors selling their characters, now its about who can produce the most over the top computer effects,
thus leaving out small details, that made this movie so fucking great, The Porsche, the slapstick fights these guys had, The cadillac scenes, recurring characters. etc etc
To me, I think Horner's work for this, 48 Hrs., Commando, Aliens, Patriot Games, and Red Heat were his best work. His score in Titanic, however, is overrated.
The steel drums are why I keep coming back!
