  • Wow you're a really good drummer! Thanks for posting this as soon as i buy a drum kit i will come back to learn! I am so interested in playing drums, right now i'm playing drums on my crash pad app haha! Thank you Rob!

  • thanks u r awesome i just stared and have playd before and now i just got a drum set and now im good at it. (well kinda)

  • Another thing I see...well i hear you have a timing device thingy (the thing that ticks lol) can you get them at any music store or do you have to order them? I just need a simple one. thanks

  • @anonymousMist The device is called a metronome and you can go to any music store and get one. They have old ones and updated ones :)

  • I've been playing for a while but stopped and lost my mojo lol. Thanks for these lessons to get me back on track

    PLUS

I think you're pretty hot lol but that's pretty irrelevant lol.

  • I wanna learn to play drums should I get an electronic drum kit or acoustic?

  • hey buddy, im 15 years old and im trying to learn the drums ive had past experience on them but i want to start again and ive kinda lost the skill that i used to have, so my question is what songs are good to be learning and how much should i spend on my first electronic drum set thanks buddy.

  • @IMAMSOBOREDRIGHTN0W Hiya, I'm afraid that you've asked to difficult questions. Any songs by AC/DC are famous for being easy on drums but other than that I think you need to decide for yourself what you find difficult or not. Depends on your own level of skill. Also, you need to decide your own budget for a drum kit. How much are you willing to spend. Once you've decided you can then Google around for the best deals. Hope that helps a little and have fun drumming again!

  • @DrumsTheWord wow thanks for replying so fast. your a great teacher thanks.

  • Your a really good teacher! Im just starting drums and my mom wants to get me lessons soon but this really helps with the basics :)

  • thanks so much! this was so veryyyy helpful:)

  • Can I possibly learn how to play drums by just watching? I mean i wanna learn how to but as of now I don't have the drums to play yet.

  • This is very very very helpful! :D

  • I love the way you say three with your accent! It's so cool! Does anyone have an idea for me to make a makeshift drum kit? Thanks!

  • i have to do a performance tomorrow but i will be the only female drummer if i play on the drums. Should I play on the drums? someone please answer...

  • @95GamerChick I think you know the answer to this, or at least I HOPE you do?! Of course you should play drums! Why on earth not?! Some of my best drum pupils are female. Girls kick arse on the drums! Go for it and let me know how it goes. Rob :)

  • @DrumsTheWord i only know a simple beat but we have to do that for a later project due next week. i play it and add something to it. thanks!

  • Where are u from? u have a really cool accent.

  • @Rosalyna2345 Thanks. I'm from England, UK. Rob :)

  • Chuck Norris could play 16th notes with beat 1A!

  • Wow you have a great electric drumset i have the DTXplorer and it sux bawls

  • thanks so much for your help im starting to sound better i use to just hammer on them adn make up my own and now its sounding like a real drum beat.

  • Thank you very much for this videos dude...how many times training do u suggest to improve fast in drumming?

  • @Natialien666 You're welcome! Sorry, but I don't really understand your question. If you're asking how much you should practice then the answer is much as you can, every day ideally. If drumming is something you love then you will find this easy to do anyway. Patience and practice will get you far. Best of luck with your drumming! Rob

  • @DrumsTheWord Thanx when i wrote the comment i was sleepy like hell , sorry it is a very stupid question in its way and you understood what i meant and answered me correctly so yeah , what i mean is how much i need to practice in a week and now i see that i have to practice every day which is something i will do coz i am a metal dude who never gets enough of metal and rockin !!!!

    THANX AND KEEEEEEP ROCKIN !

  • thanks dude you really helped me keep it up!

  • excellent videos i really appreciate it

  • i find your vids very helpfull but im not familiar to the counting.......what do you suggest me??????cheers from greece dude

  • Hi @AsiDie888. Either learn the counting in the video or do your best to learn the beat without the counting. It's not 100% essential to be able to count these beats. They can be learnt from just watching and copying. That's the beauty of learning from a video rather than from a book I guess. Good luck and happy drumming!

  • nice clean sound, what make of drum set is that

  • Hi @travelfoxx721, It's a Yamaha DTXPRESS IV Special. Thanks for your interest.

  • WOW AMIZING

  • Thank you!

  • To me "the counting" is the key to playing the right part of the drum-set at the right time. Great instruction.

  • I agree @TerryMarineBMF, the counting helps to ensure that the drum parts are played correctly.

  • bye the comments i see here i think hes a good teacher

  • thank you, you are great teacher, I learn so easy from you. I love you man

  • Big love back to you, @bigdaddyhien

  • Is it necassary to count the "ands" in between? for a total newbie that is!

  • @natalkats If you can play it without counting then, cool. No need to count if you don't want too.

  • thanks mate
