What a hauntingly beautiful, beautiful song. Alex interpreted this song so well in his own romantic way. I love both original V. by Loveholic and interpreted V. by Alex. I don't call Alex's "cover" cause he puts his own way into this song. So FLOWERPOT was transformed from the sad, haunting melody and voice into romantic and sweet song. One of the great songs I ever heard of.

No need to compare and get all hurt everyone. This is a great song, no matter who sings it. Everyone has their own opinion. But I think we can all agree this is one hell of a song! I always loved Loveholic, but I never noticed this song until Alex sang it in WGM. Both versions hold a place in my heart. :)

from what i know, they are still very underrated. In korea, the ones that get any mainstream success are idol groups (like Big Bang, Wonder Girls, DBSK, SNSD just to name a few). Groups like Loveholic dont get a lot of recognition, but they are amazing!

Well the idol groups are worshipped by the teens and it's the teens who're always spreading korean pop online... Lots of people hate the idol groups. It's just that the broadcasting companies support the idol groups much more than bands or independent groups because the stations are connected and paid by the "기획사"s, which are like record companies but really big on idol projects and "bringing up" new "talents".

yes...they are not considered a mainstream pop groups such as WG,DBSK, SnSD..usually these groups have younger fans..loveholic is followed by more wider aged audience...and the lead singer is considered one of the best singers in korea..the band is considered one of the best song writers..They disbanded..but still are very popular in korea..even so, very underrated indeed..many music followers considered them to be the best when they were together.

People stop saying alex's is better cuz u THINK u know him better. cuz u dont. Also he said that he loved this song, so he sang it to Shin Ae, that doesnt mean he stole it. IF a tv show uses a song without permission/payment to the copyright owner, they will get sued. SO, WGM production group probably got permission to use Loveholic's song in their show. AND ever since Alex song that song. It got MORE popular so he decided to put it in his album. FYI he started his album before the show started.

I didn't even know Alex covered this song until I heard his solo debut album. I like both versions, but Loveholic's instrumentation sounds better and adds more atmosphere. The video is good to boot. Loveholic is probably the best band from Corea.
