Nightmare's and Raphael's voices are actually pretty good in English, but I just can't stand the female voice acting in the game so I always set it to Japanese voices.
Nightmare (SC2) is the best character in the game. He has the strongest attack, called the Earth Splitter, it does up to 400 Damage, and can Kill Sophitia in 1 hit, given the correct weapons. Nightmare's strongest 3 )SOUL EDGE COMPLETE, Soul Calibur, Glam) with the bad weapons, Sophitia is the weakest character. Link's Hyperdash, with Soul Edge complete, also deals great damage, and with the Vajra, Maxi is seemingly unstoppable, but he can not guard. Cassandra's Valkyrie is also a good choice.
In SC 2 their are rumors nightmare says fuck you or something like that a couple of times, i think i heard it a few times also did someone also had this?
The most ironic thing is that although Nightmare is the evil villain of the series and Raphael is one of the good guys, in Nightmare's ending he becomes noble and virtuous, while Raphael becomes evil.
Yeah because when Raphael got back up after Nightmare fought Inferno, and stabed Soul Edge in the center(eye) so... there musta been some sort of power that hit Raphael that caused him to be evil, while for Siegfried, the Soul Edge Infection came off of him.
@SilientShadow no in soul calibur I he is somewhat good by trying to ressurect his father thus his theme "in the name of father" and in soul calibur II he realized the sword (after it was shattered in soul calibur I) was just using him to get souls thats why if you notice in his ending he has the choice of either soul calibur or soul edge thats why soul calibur II nightmare will always be my all time favorite (in other words he was good and evil cause it was seigfreid trying to gain control)

i wish they would have kept his voice like this in SC3, that was literally my only complaint with knightmare in SC3, was that his voice sucked compared to SC2 lol.
well you gotta take into account new host body and all so they needed something, it just sucks his voice didn't stay all dark and demonic like in SC 2 :( ah well, gotta take the lumps with the good
OMG look how sinister nightmare looks at the end! man they really messed up when it comes to cutscenes in SC3, same with the voice actin which wasnt that bad here!
I think the comment you are referring to (which I have now deleted) was saying he wanted to see the actual gameplay between the movies. But I like to show off game cut scenes/FMVs, not gameplay in my vids so too bad for him/her.
It might have worked better in the 3P Costume, Siegfried's costume.
