If people are having trouble getting Crash Course Achievements just put "Versus" "Create Lobby" put system in "System Link" and well there you go !

@mcrluvsMExX Yes, you can get it, but only if you play in a not dedicated server (you can choose that at the lobby). Same happens with the achievements "Slippery Pull" and "Smash Hit". Then it's just about pouncing a survivor and scratching him for a couple of secs ;)

Dedicated servers are the glitch with this achievement, I got it legit four times but never go the achievment until I went offline.

OFFLINE CONFIRMED. I tried it several times online, it didnt work. I unplugged my internet cable which automatically brough me to the menu . I created a new lobby and the serveyype was set automatically to system link . After my first try i got the achievement. It has to be done OFFLINE and SYSTEM LINK.. TY for the tip

@TakashiKara No you just need to do it on a private server, simply playing by yourself in a private match will allow you to get it. The same goes for slippery pull.

You may not be able to get this while connected to LIVE due to a bug in Valve's servers. If that is the case, unplug your Ethernet connection/wireless adapter and try again.

@LSiwik I'm on xbox 360. It's patch alright. I did 25 damage off of exactly the same building, next to the helicopter and I even exited to menu. Nothing. But I still got Lamb 2 slaughter, All 4 dead, Wipe fest, Truck stop, Nothing special and Barf bagged from starting a private game with my guest that I was controlling with my 2nd remote.

Jumping jack smash, Chain smoker and Smash hit are currently the only one's I know that don't work.

@tastified there's a problem with the crash course campaign. you have to be on a local server or off-line split screen. it has something to do with the achievements not registering as completed when on a dedicated server. so if you're playing on a dedicated server then you can't get the achievements, valve never bothered to fix the problem. you can get jumpin jack smash and smash hit on split screen. keep in mind it's only the crash course achievements that are defective.

@Fma1416 I got it in offline split screen... but it didn't "bloop-pa-doop" till i exited in to the main screen, very strange. I know there's a way to bypass the glitch if you select local server in the settings of the lobby an keep pressing (X) I'll check with my friends they're the ones that helped me get it. I got the achievement the first time I tried it. Offline in the No Mercy campaign 1st chapter. If you have a friend willing to help you that person can play the survivor and as soon as the AI's run into the safe room they can close them in so they won't get in the way. Have them close to the closed safe room door (outside of it) and you stand by the opening in the wall by the stairs. Grab them and it should be far enough as long as there aren't any zombies around at the time to get in the way.

I've too had the problem of not getting the achievment, although I pouned the survivor for well over 25 points. Another achievement that is like that to me is "Smash Hit", where you have to win a versus game on "Crash Course", I've tried about 3 times, and all 3 times I won but know achievement. Is it "Crash Course", or is it Left 4 Dead. Anyone know?

You have to actually escape in the rescue vehicle to get the achievement, you can't simply win the versus match.

go to the place he was on the vid where he pounced. get your other player to get there body touching the little fence . the get him to face you and you to face him. next get back and aim for him but just above his head and when u pounce him it should say 25 points of damage (my firstgo i got 17 second go i got the achievment!!!!

@cmartinori Yeah I do have other achievements in the game I might need help with, trying to get Slippery Pull, was trying to do it with someone who wanted to help but everytime we tried the A button thing when you start the game, the game keeps freezing up. Other than that, the expert achievements I would say.

the slippery pull is a glitch and theres 1 way to do it unless they fix the glitch and the expert ones i would say if you have done all the campaigns on easy or normal and you know where you are going you should be alright try stay out of peoples way when fireing and protect each other and you should do it!

if you want to create a listen server create your own room, then when people have joined start mashing the A button on start the game, eventually it will just start, then you've got yourself a listen server.

You could also do this in splitscreen, which is like 1000 times easier.

Several of the crash course achievements are glitched to an extent. If your game connects to a dedicated server then they won't unlock. You have to get host in order for them to unlock. And to do that you need a computer program I believe.

To those getting angry for no Achievement it's because there is a problem with the servers and what not. Go look at the forums and you'll see. You won't be getting them online as easy due to this. Enjoy playing!

I added some tips to this video guys on the comment box to the right. As for the conditions, it was online, Public. It was right after Crash Course came out and noone joined our game for at least 2 hours so we got a lot of achievements boosted (Me and my friend, Bobzilla5000).
