She's a very cute pony, and seems to have a wonderful new family. But, 18 is not particularly old for a horse. It's not young...but it's not ancient either. Ponies can easily live into their late 20's and early 30's, and I've known a couple who were near 40 when they died. Ponies live a great deal longer than horses typically, as do some of the draft and spanish breeds. So glad such a cute girl found a wonderful new home!
@misspalousepony There are lots of ponies and horses available here through equine rescue groups and they desperately need homes... While some have problems and are only for the experienced...there are many who are schooled and good for those who are learning.
@misspalousepony I have a big sister, younger one too, my little one hates horse, my big sister and I adore them. But I get all of her hand me downs, and now she's getting horse, and now I'm begging my mom and dad to let us move to England. (just to be able to adopt a horse from W.H.W) Haha, I've always wanted to go there anyways, harry potter still lives in me
@Socksee Why would a horse being 18 affect its condition? Don't say age because I'd be worried if I say an under 20 in poor condition. It would really hint to either poor management or a serious condition. After that they can up and down as problems come up and are dealt with but a horse or pony should not be in poor condition all the time just because of age.
nice pony, hope kid treats the pony well as she grows up.
