I put my music into the video when I first make it. I use Windows Movie Maker (though some people use different programs), myself.

What I did was stop on the spot of the clip I wanted a picture of, then split the clip.

Under 'tools' there's an option that says 'take picture from preview'. Using that you save the picture, then bring it in and add it to the storyboard wherever I want it.

Then I just used the 'titles and credits' option under 'tasks'. One of the selections there lets you put the text on the selected clip (or in this case, picture). There is a 'subtitle' option under the animations.
