@ScopedPewPew I worked in that shelter for a while. They only put down the ones that are too sick to help. The others wait for two weeks for the original owner to show up and if no one misses them, they are put up for adoption. :)
@lunacra awesome I sort of feel bad that I bought my cat at the store. He was taken from his mom too early and he was with his sister and I was only going to buy him then I found out he still had a sister so I brought them both home to keep each other company but now his sister won't even let us pet her and growls if he goes near her :/ they're about 3 now
I lost my 19 year old black male cat "Salem" 3 weeks ago to old age, I was so sad . The best move I ever made was adopting a 2 year old black female shelter cat "Molly" who has moved in, and my great friend.
Thank you for posting this video. I just watched Tsem Tulku Rinpoche the Animals Lover and was very happy to see that many people are showing their care for animals welfare, including a Tibetan Lama/ teacher like him. Please keep up the good work!
i work at an spca and people think oh the spca is a horable place to get a cat from but your saving a life your giving them a second chance at life. and also when people walk in they say aww these poor cats look so sad but to be honest there very happy to be there, they dont have to fight for there lives anymore. and they get lots of food and water and hug and cuddles. dont get me wrong they are sad that they dont have a real home but there better off at a shelter then on the streets
When adopting from a shelter, it's always kind to ask who the oldest resident is, so that they can get a home soon. Also, kittens go much faster than older cats, who's time may be running out.
i work at an animal shelter and we DO NOT kill for space and time, only for super sick animals or agressive ones.
(i still dont like the fact that we kill at all but sometimes it's for the best, and dont worry im not the one to make the desisions if it were up to me i'd say keep it alive^^)
aww dont worry those cat are happy to be safe it's the ones that are being abused, and living on the street you hhave to be sad about :) i work with shelter cats and trust me there happier to be there then on the streets
That is so sad. I volunteer at a completely volunteer run shelter but the cats are not in cages like that. Poor little guys. They just gave away 200 cats for free at a local shelter here because it was so overpopulated I am glad they didn't put them down.

jerrynog is a very sick person, our next serial killer.

To: jerrynog..
You are a very sick person, the kind of person who is probably a child molester or
serial killer. You need to be locked up before you really hurt a person or an animal.
