ok, let me state very clearly, ed K has made one of the greediest, stupid creative and career moves I could imagine. And how completely incompatible with the content of his lyrical content, terribly hypocritical and back stabbing. Seriously ed, your about as righteous as the illuminati and monsanto.

Kevin can definitely sing this tune much better and might be better off whole heartedly reconstructing all the melodies to suit his creative interpretation, as he seems to be riding the fence between sheepishly doing so and half heartedly imitating ed. Sincerely, I hope TGF improve with age.

That being said, I miss Live. I wish someone or something would smack the foolishness out of ed, humbling his megalomania so that he may beg and bargain his way into redemption where he belongs with Live. Furthermore, upon this reckoning, I also hope that Chad, Chad and Patrick might be so forgiving and perhaps even understanding of the insanity and darkness their old friend has/had been consumed by.

While I agree that as a singer and frontman Kevin isn't quite as good as Ed, musically and lyrically the debut Gracious Few album is far ahead of what Live has been putting out in the 21st century thus far.

I was ready to dismiss it but he really hit his stride about halfway through. Whether or not "Ed was better" the fact remains that Ed today is not what Live used to be. The Grateful Few are more Live than any of the cookie cutter, bland, dull Jesus-rock that he's been putting out for years now.

ED sucks! Kevin's awesome! This is a cover. That's why the vocals doesnt sound like Ed...because its not Ed. I agree that Kevin is so under appreciated that its ridiculous. You want to hear Kevin cover something awesome, go listen to him cover AC/DC, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath while playing with the Candlebox group. I think TGF is one of the best things that has recently hit Rock n Roll. Proud to say I've seen history in the making live in concert, dont know about you. Have an open mind ppl.

This is shocking they won't make it with kevin. I want ed and tgf to both put out great music but I didn't realise how good ed sang until i heard this. Ed hasn't got the best voice going round but it seems fantastic compared to this. Hopefully they can find a better vocalist for the next album..

They are playing Oct. 31 in Ephrata, PA in a small theater with 200 seats so up close is cool. I found the tickets online..only $20 at Ephrata Main Theater.

Aw man!!!! Cant say Im impressed with vocals!!!! Went to see Ed couple weeks ago and although he was great, it was'nt quite the same without chads guitar playing!! with this the music sounds great but I really dont think they should do Live tracks if this is anything to go by!! lets just hope Live get back together....let us all pray ;-)

Yeah, I love Live, all of them, and I've just discovered Kev MARTIN from candlebox, he and the band are awesome, but please, lets leave the past in the past boys, this cover did not do anyone a favour. Outside the comfort zone too early. To bad it wouldn't let me give a half star for the rating. First of all, Ed did the majority of the writing on the LIVE songs and in some cases all of it. I can't even believe they would try to do a version of this song with this wannabe audio slave sounding wierdo. Vocals suck even on the new single "honest man". Ed K still sounds great after all these years and will do fine with out the band. I can't sat the same for them as long as this guys fronting them.

I think Martin will do fine covering LIVE songs once he looses up, same as the rest of the band will perform old candlebox songs better.

I have bought ED K's new disk, and it fails in comparision to anything he ever did with LIVE, i can only hope that TGF's debt is much better.

Kevin has a unique voice, and powerful. Kev recording this with a handy cam can't do it justice. I'd say wait till album comes out and make judgment. When I saw Ed play Live songs on YT, it felt strange. I say welcome the new, better than them looking for an Ed impersonator.
